Le Monarque
Le Monarque is one of my favorite exotics, and far and away the best bow in the game, in my opinion, but I feel like I can't show off the weapon properly because there is no catalyst or ornament yet- I just really want to be able to show off my bby

For an ornament: Rapier - a beautiful French rapier inspired design. Silver and dark raw iron for the main portion of the body with burnished copper butterflies around most of it. The scope is mostly the same, but the bars that show you draw length are replaced by two lines of butterflies. For a Masterwork: Archer’s Tempo and +15 Handling and +5 Accuracy - Found by Completing activities with a Black Armory weapon equipped. Increased chances with more equipped. (2% for 1, 5% for 2 and 10% for 3). - Activated by earning 1500 precision kills and killing 1000 enemies effected with poison.

I'd use this bow all the time if it wasn't for the fact the only content right now that has rewards worth chasing needs us to use silly mods.

Its a fun bow. I have a subtle calamity that has explosive and dragonfly. With the dragonfly mod i hardly use LM. Probably need to pull it out and knock the dust off.

2 RepliesTo be honest, I’d prefer if devs un-nerfed Oathkeeper first. It was supposed to reduce draw time for bows but then they removed that part because it was bugged and didn’t even buff the exotic to compensate.

I don’t use bows but that one is good. It’s annoying to play against because of the poison.

Edited by Infamous067: 12/7/2019 2:58:56 PMOnly catalyst perk I would love le monarque to have is archers tempo, that way landing the precision hit, landing the poison AND being able to do a follow up would make it far more consistent when engaging multiple enemies. I would be able to constantly apply poison at a much faster rate. This increases the dps on pve and on pvp it could be really fun to use without really breaking the meta in any way

Le Monarque opens up an interesting PvP strat of the one-shot variety. It needs a catalyst, though, since it’s only “exotic” for a split second on a perfect draw.

9 RepliesLe Monarque + Oathkeepers as a hunter feels gamebreaking hahahaha. I used to have a subtle calamity with explosive heads and dragonfly and Le Monarque still out damages that and I love it! Well, at least in all the PVE stuff and Gambit. I admittedly don't dally much in Crucible.

I saw fanart of an ornament that turned the gears and sides of the bow into butterfly wings, and the thing was gorgeous.
