Nerf Dawnblade without buffing the neutral game?
Why is it every twab that warlocks only get nerfs? Nerfing the super is just fine except when that's the only thing going for the subclass. Bottom tree dawnblade has no neutral game and Phoenix dive is so -blam!-ing useless.
I don't understand why warlocks always get the shit stick!

4 RepliesEdited by Guardian: 10/29/2019 9:15:33 AMi have some suggestions, Have you tried Arcweb by any chance and used the new storm caller exotic when ur nade and melee are fully charged? or have you tried Controverse nova warp and hot swapping to astrocyte verse for super which i find very fun as astrocyte makes it's really hard to die out of nova warp.

6 RepliesThis I agree with, despite Titans having bottom tree striker’s super nerfed like Dawnblade, they still have an exceptionally strong neutral game! Nova Warp has an okay neutral game but a crap super after the nerf, Bottom tree nova bomb has a fantastic neutral game but a very mediocre super, top tree dawnblade has an amazing neutral game but once again a mediocre super. Why do Warlocks only get best of one world on each subclass diamond? How come Titans get the whole nine yards with almost every subclass diamond? And to put the cherry on top, Titans also have OP exotics to compliment their strong ass neutral game/supers especially One Eyed Mask, Warlocks however....not much!

I honestly do not like that Warlocks are targeted for reduction but no real buff or redesign are been offered for warlocks

Two reasons 1. Bungie hates Warlocks 2. This nerf was targeted at PC players but as Luke Smith said "content is hard" so its easier to blanket nerf the class instead of making changes just for PC.

1 ReplyPhoenix dive needs to be changed to the plunging attack but with a cooldown. In PvE, they would have a strong neutral game ability and in PvP it would be fair because Titans have shoulder charge and if that gets to 1 shot, then I don't see why this would be any different because if you're standing under someone in midair that long, then you deserve to die by it.

They were just nerfing the super regen to be more in line with strikers. The utility of having a super that simply lasts longer is a benefit and since dawnblade as a super doesn't technically suck...especially not in crucible...they likely just gave it a pass for now. Trust me dude, I've been sitting on thundercrash for the past year just waiting for something to happen. I wouldn't hold your breath. But at least making suggestions feels like less of a waste of time.

7 RepliesI’m my opinion it’s because they only want Hunters in Crucible. All Hunter abilities are geared for Crucible where as they are nerfing kind of the only things on Titan and Warlocks that make them competitive in PvP. “We are nerfing this and that on Hunters (not really) to balance Hunters but we are completely murdering the Titan and Warlocks because we feel that are making Hunters look bad.” As I said, just my opinion.

Reminds me of D1 when the sunbreaker came out. An entire class designed around the super and nothing else. I also remember them nerfng it until you literally could not get a kill with it.

2 RepliesI mean I switched to maining warlock after upwards of four years as a hunter main BECAUSE of rifts but whatever. Hunter is really not as strong as y'all say. Even with dawnblade being nerfed it will still be usable and nova bomb will remain the same. Striker may be getting nerfed but they still have two crazy useful supers.

Doesn't matter because the super is so good. I'm intrigued to see how it is in PvE as how i read the twab it seemed that is where the nerf will really be fealt. Think it'll still be pretty solid in PvP.

They were planning this nerf for awhile. Do supers don’t have both health and super regen in the same tree
