who else is super excited for tuesday lol
i honestly cant wait for shadowkeep to drop..so many amazing changes but also some i dont agree with but ill give them a try see how the game feels...seems like its gonna feel totally different to play destiny again...i dont mind that however...the battle pass has me the most excited...i dont approve of the 2 week lockout of eververse bright dust purchases tho...just another way to get people to spend money cuz i for one want those new armor ornaments day 1...they look better than any armor in the game as of yet...anyway...what is everyone else excited for

Not excited one bit. It will be more of the same, with no regerd for what players want. Bright dust will be limited to gambit, crucible, and strikes. Strikes get boring quickly and gambit and crucible are terrible. I’m not supporting Luke Smith’s control freak vision of Destiny where we are forced to play what he likes and streamers have all the input.

Part of me is super hyped, I'm loving the more rpg focus and genuinely looking forward to the game becoming more challenging. Then I remember new activities are going to be temporary, the battle pass which kills any meaningful play and the lack of updates to the existing systems and I get less excited.

4 RepliesNot even in the slightest. No Factions (NM, DO, FWC) returning. 'Battle Pass' content drops? Just no. Damage changes that don't affect the damage given, just to make players choose different perks outside Rampage. Seasonal content leaving every 3 months. Nerfs outweighing the buffs. Lack of support for the planetary vendors. I just don't feel that Bungie has found what Destiny, as a franchise, is yet. Outside of my friends giving me glowing recommendations to come back for Shadowkeep, I don't plan stepping back in to Destiny 2.

The changes Bungie is making will really revolutionize how the game is played. The problem is that people fear change...and its cool to hate corporations. So all you're going to hear around this place is how the Sky is Falling...and how **horrible** it all is. Bungie is finally making the changes I've been waiting five years for them to make.

They only just decided what kinda game they want destiny to be. If anyone thinks that they got their s*** together in 3 months then you deserve the coming gut punch.

Yup, I’m ready and waiting! Got the whole next week to play uninterrupted then a bit of university stuff after that but will still have ample time to keep playing. In the meantime I’m going to play some Dying Light while the maintenance is active.
