There is a huge problem with people making money with Comp carries. Recoveries, Pinnacle weapons, etc. The problem is that you haven't done anything about it. I go against players with super low elo and horrible KDA Like 0.78, 0.93. Super horrible! (For Fabled III and Mythic I) However thyt go in and wipe a whole group like it's nothing. Players who are trying to improve at their level, can't because of others coming in to mess the game up. They are either super skilled (at a level under their skill) or flat out cheaters (DDOS, Lagswitches, etc.). They ruin the experience for those that don't want to pay or cheat.
They charge people $100s of $$$. Kids steal ther parents credit cards to do this. You should care about this. It will break the game. People who can pay, will pay (grow tired of the content) and the rest won't pay and hate the game for it. You have created a breeding ground for a bad experience in your game. By making the weapons mire accessible (even if it's a lot to grind like the D1 swords), people won't feel the need to buy them, they will get them at thir own pace. People go tryhard in Overwatch for Comp points for a Golden weapon skin. You can do something else for those that reach Fabled and Legend. Special Ornaments like in D1 or slightly better weapons like the adept vrrsions from Trials on D1. However, you shouldn't keep the best content from the people that paid for it when they gave you their money.
It is bad enough that you use P2P for PVP in this game. And then also matcuing up with people way above your level... Most of my friends that played D1 and D2 have left because of this and other reasons. Players who went flawless every week and were crazy about D1. All they talk is crap about you now.
Your game gets more toxic every single day and it will eventually kill it. I'm saying that Shadowkeep might be the last project you do with Destiny if you don't do something to fix the experience for people.
Shadowkeep will be booming at first, but very quickly people will feel the same thing when the hype passes and they see that the experience has remained the same. You have to find a way to eliminate pay to win services from outside sources. They will bleed out your game for good if you don't do something.

Anyone can earn any pinacle weapons, no one is forced to pay for carries

5 RepliesAll comp weapons need to be like revoker where you don’t need a certain rank to get them. This is coming from someone who has no problem getting them. If you think they should still be as “hard” to get as they are now then think of the bigger picture, the weapons being easier to get incentivizes people to play comp which improves the population of the playlist making matches easier to find and skill balancing in each game being more accurate. It is for the good of literally everyone if comp weapons become more accessible.

5 RepliesEdited by KRoMXiTo: 9/24/2019 10:38:12 AMNo pinnacle/rewards on competitive game. Problem solved. By doing this, only people who want to play PvP just for fun would go to play plain competitive. Crying cheating kids would not be interested on this anymore. All happy. You are welcome, Bungie.

10 RepliesI mean, getting the Pinnacles, other than NF isn’t hard, they just take forever. Though less so once you hit 2100 because then you no longer have to stress about winning or losing, just completing the quests.
-
6 RepliesWell they are adding solo que comp and you don't lose glory while under Fabled 1.

If I get repeatedly killed by weapons I do not have and there are no counters to them then I go off and play different games. The only thing keeping me logging in occasionally is the veiled threat of being booted from my clan for inactivity.

Everything OP says is 100% true and you bungholes can eat monkey poop if u dont like it!

1 ReplyIs revoker not accessible enough? I got it casually playing crucible, anymore nerfs to the quest they wont be pinnacle
-
The real problem hasn’t been how you get them so much how powerful they are in the rest of the game. We’re taking some of the best weapons ever made in the franchise. Though one is taking a hit due to auto reload nerfs. In the future I see them not being as impactful, like revoker. Good in its mode, but not so much otherwise. Also how you get it. Just play and it’ll come. And I’m in the K/d range and I’d call .9 average. Yes I was outclassed a lot. But I was able to make it 90% solo. It felt hopeless at times but I put in the work, learned a little, and got there. I do understand the frustration though because I faced a lot of recovs or carries and it was irritating.

1 ReplySorry your post has been removed due to its violation of terms: Code-24 "Too intelligent, and requires more than our maximum 5 minutes of work" We hope you understand. ~Bungie

They should be less accessible. Too many people have them that they can’t be very strong now.

2 RepliesI think pinnacle weapons shouldn't have been implemented until recovs and cheating had been dealt with first. Ever play at Mythic rank? 90% of the population there is recovs. The other 10% are streamers that live and die in comp but don't do recovs. Then there's the crazy amount of people you don't see because they're win trading.

Went from 0 - 5500 legit this season yet I can't figure out where your complaints are... I don't remember getting stomped into oblivion by a recov team or being ddos'd or otherwise. The worst thing I ran into was people that payed for 5500 going in with their new NF and throwing games or even a guy that was using double handcannons at legend. Thats all that I noticed... maybe i'm a lucky one who knows.

3 RepliesI'd hold off on gathering feedback about the Crucible Competitive scene and the related Pinnacle weapons involved since there will be changes to the matchmaking, que options, and other related systems involved. Bungie and the people within most involved will be more likely to care about Crucible feedback when it's coming off a recent system change that was alluded to provide a better experience. 3 RepliesI think all crucible pinnacle quests should be of 2 varieties: The first, like the Redrix’s Broadsword Quest. It’s not hard, it just takes awhile. The second, like the Revoker quest. A little harder, and skill will definitely shorten the time it takes to get it, but still very achievable.

Edited by KalSkirata77: 9/23/2019 7:29:24 PMThey are. I for the most part soloed getting my Redrix Broadsword, Luna, recluse, and revoker. Solo. Edit: mountain top before the “nerf”

Hopefully with the changes they announced to Crucible next season this won't be as big of an issue anymore. If it actually works the way Bungie is saying it will, the game will be matching you with players of equal skill. There won't be a casual road to recoveries anymore. The game will instantly know what the actual skill level of the player is and match them accordingly. My guess is most of these players will either determine recoveries aren't worth it anymore due to the new time investment, want to charge too much due to the new time investment, or will have to cut way back due to it taking much longer. My guess is the latter, but at least it will clean up these players facing people too far beneath their skill level.

They’re all easily accessible, it’ll be even easier in shadowkeep

7 RepliesThey are accesible for tons of people. Maybe you just have to try a little harder than others.
