For the 85% of the entire destiny lifespan PvP could be solved by having bigger maps. At release destiny 1 had 2 maps that were large and with vehicles (1 on the moon and 1 on Mars). This was the height of PvP. Sandbox was enjoyable. Since then, the vast majority of issues with balance stem from poor map design

Combined Arms was the BEST! I’d say that every weapon type was viable on this maps. You just had to play the areas of the map where the weapons you had shined. The use of vehicles and turrets was great as well. I really feel that Bungie should lean back into that.

I thought those maps were terrible but we all have our own opinions

Yeah to each their own with the maps. Do you think the sandbox was better bc the maps were larger? That was more what I was trying to get across

The TTK of weapons was a lot more forgiving. Now a day's an auto rifle takes like 10 crits and a body to achieve a mediocre ttk of like .9. Then you had chaos dogma which was 2 crits and a body and it seemed to fire much faster then the high impact scouts in D2.. and all those scouts are 3 crits. I think everything was adjusted to a butt ton of crits to kill due to PC but I mean.... the majority of the playerbase isn't on PC lol.

Let's not forget they still refuse to have Regional Dedicated Servers and insist that Peer to Peer is just fine.
