BYGONES
I need a little help. About a month ago I returned to destiny and made a new account on pc, and I’m grinding for the dredgen seal. All I need is the Bygones pulse rifle, and two more resets. I’m about halfway into my second reset and the pulse still hasn’t dropped so just wondering what all the ways to acquire it are. I’ve read that you can buy it from the drifter but haven’t found a way to. But I also read that it’s suppose to drop at rank 12.
Ps. I heard the ada-1 bounties are a good source. Is that worth grinding too?

Bad news for you, 4 resets for me, 0 bygones. Do Ada's bounty, can't hurt, do the bounty every day that rewards legendary gear too. That being said, I did, and still 0 Bygones

Edited by Mighty Shisno: 6/29/2019 7:50:41 AMThe Gambit frame from Ada-1 is a good thing to do. I've only ever gotten Pillager and Bygones from her bounty, so it might narrow the pool a bit. Otherwise it just comes down to RNG unfortunately... Edit: You used to be able to purchase a set roll from the Drifter until Season of the Forge ended. Not sure why they took it away.

Cant guarantee it will drop from Ada, but it cant hurt. Might not drop from her unless its unlocked first? Make sure you do every bounty with a legendary engram on all guardians if you can. Good luck.

As additional option of getting more guns - Ada's bounties are very good way to farm more stuff. But if you want particular roll - don't hold your hopes up. Been farming all "faction" stuff weekly, and since March - on all 3 characters, but my overall luck with certain guns is just terrible. In terms of Gambit armament it is not Bygones though - for my 7 Infamy resets, I got plenty of those. Only Trusts and Bad Omens were more numerous (most of them suck). My rarest gun is Hazard of the Cast. Not only I got only 7 of those (6 of them are terrible) - I got 5K kills with Breakneck, before first ever Hazard dropped! I had at least five variations of other weapons (shotgun/SMG; everything else was more numerous). As for buying - I think it was an offer two seasons ago. Last season it was Distant Relation. So... Good luck in your search and may Bygones be with you. This gun is awesome.

Hey buddy, It took me a very long time to get my shotgun for It. So yeah, keep on going and bounties! Bounties at the best, make sure to do them.

Yes grind the ada1 bounties. I ended up getting a decent roll bygones from her, since it isn’t dropping in gambit for me. Plus the weapons from ada1 can roll with extra perks I believe.

If you don’t want to constantly grind gambit, the Ada-1 bounties might be able to help you. They also might get you a better roll.

The gun is a beast! I got mine in forsaken but since then I usually get it through drifter bounties and rank up you are correct from my experience! Also blast furnace is a beast also! Worth getting just for the range and 4 shot pulse or is it 5 I’m usually dead before I can count the number of bullets coming at me!
