So we know where most if the focus was, there was supposed to be a mix of gear for silver and dust, it's almost all silver.
Bungie that's pretty disgusting.

5 RepliesIs the engram for this season only the year one thing?
-
I would understand if it were the following. 1. The game is -blam!-ing fun as hell 2. No nerfs 3. Update more maps, and fix the issues that we have always requested. But with whats going on now, they should have concentrated on improving the game, not eververse.

1 ReplyI’m tired of this crap if this doesn’t change and we can’t get our shit from eververse without paying I’m just gonna up and leave. Been here since 2014 and been holding out hope all these year FOR THIS?! #RemoveEververse and #DownWithBungie.

4 RepliesYou know what? I'm gonna be part of the problem and play the game I enjoy. Y'all have fun complaining or whatever. I don't like any of the new armor so I'm cool with getting the Optimacy stuff again for rank ups. Top kek, -blam!-ers.

18 RepliesEdited by The Warrior: 6/4/2019 10:51:45 PMA lot of kids here crying about this relatively meaningless bs. There’s no other areas in life I can think of that don’t offer “upgrades” after the initial purchase. A lot of you clowns go to theme parks, movies, sporting events, concerts, etc... buy the tickets and expect everything else there to be free 😂 Parking in a garage where I’m at, on a Saturday night can cost more than the base game. We’re in a capitalist society people, get used to it. Anyway a company can make a buck they will...like your job, company, or anyone trying to make a living does. These are COSMETIC items with perks that can be found in game in other items. Stop fukkin crying and get a grip. Micro transactions are here to stay and I welcome them. I recently bought the $50 pack of silver just off the amount of hours I’ve got in enjoyment playing this game.

Edited by michael: 6/4/2019 11:11:41 PMI saw this post earlier today and almost replied with something like it’s just eververse who cares, but I saw it for myself and wow it is horrible. I saw the new ui and was disgusted, to think how much effort they put into the eververse store and that almost all the new stuff for this season is locked behind actual silver. Meanwhile no other vendors have been refreshed since forsaken. The new bright engram doesnt even drop anything new, it is just stuff that most people already have.

I actually like the new UI. But those price hikes though...

To everyone saying Activision is still involved so it must be their fault Eververse is worse than ever.... Eververse was Bungies idea. They came up with it as a way to meet monetisation targets when they renegotiated their contract with Activision when they couldn't keep up with the release schedule mid way through D1. So literally everything that has happened with Eververse between its unfortunate creation and today is all on bungie. Activision have sweet fa to do with it other green lighting is creation. And also seeing as destiny is "made by bungie, published by bungie" now. Then I'd definitely be inclined to put this on them as a cash grab. Things will not get better witn no Activision. I all but guarantee it.

Bungie is here to make a quick buck with cosmetics while giving as little actual content as possible that was also paid for. Think about how much they make off of each cosmetic compared to an entire dlc. They spend 7 months or better on each dlc or one mission or spend a couple of weeks on some cosmetics and you pay as much for I think 3 cosmetics as you do an entire years worth of dlc. Actually sit back and think on that. People pay for the cosmetics and the more that pay for them the more they are going to focus on them cause that is the fastest easiest way to make the money. I paid for the game up front which in my mind means everything in the game should be included in the price I paid and I will not pay them for any cosmetic. I will and have now quit playing the game first. People need to learn if you you keep giving them your time and money when things are going bad they will continue to go bad and get worse till you speak with your time and money which in turn hurts their pocket which will make them listen.

3 RepliesYup and crucible sucks now. Played 2 games and im like -blam!- it. Back to fallout 76. Everyone enjoy season of whatever lol.
-
It's hilarious actually, I called it out the second it was shown and was told I was just making a fuss over things that aren't really happening, I then told them "see you in two week" now I get to enjoy saying "I told you so" while spending money on all the new eververse stuff I can afford.
-
7 RepliesDisgusting? Drop your entitled BS attitude. If you like it buy, if not don't and move on.

6 RepliesThe new eververse storefront is terrible. Removing the ability to get equipment from levelling up was a step backwards. Replacing that with the direct-buy option with silver and not bolstering the bright dust purchase storefront, shifting to such a heavy focus on monetization, sucks. If you’ve put an adequate amount of gear and items to earn through gameplay itself, I’ll be a little more satisfied. But as it stands, the heavily increased focus on monetization - for a full-prized, triple A game that, in order to keep up with we’ve had to spend ~$210+ on, is greedy and deplorable. There you have my two cents.

I laughed so hard when i saw 90 % of the items in the Store under a Silver pay-wall,and the fact that the bright engrams that we'll obtain are just a copy-paste of the "best of" exotics and legendary cosmetics from Season 1 to 3. When i saw the data mine and looked all the exotic sparrows, ships and others,i said "no way this is gonna be free for all".AAAAAAAND i was right, kinda. Do you wanna hear the funny part?looks like the vanilla users now have Curse of Osiris and Warmind free. This is cool, right?the problem is that they don't have Forsaken, and if they wanna have the 700 power,Gambit and the access to the Annual Pass, they need to spend 40 € for one pack containing three DLC,with only one useful for them. GG Bungie, this is NOT how you get money. If this story lf money-grabbing will continue well,i can't wait to see HALO on Steam so i'll leave this garbage

I almost vomited when I saw that new screen. Looks like Fortnite infected Destiny.

4 RepliesEdited by The Makr: 6/4/2019 6:34:25 PMStraight up free to play store. Now you see Bungie with no activision.
-
I might have to log in just to see this, sounds... interesting even for Bungie. =P
-
13 Repliestold you so now lets see all thoes deffending it by saying it's only cosmetic when it's more than that.
-
Straight up copy of Anthem's store design. I don't like it in Anthem, either.
-
We (the forum users who posted warnings about Eververse) all warned you that Bungie would be nudging Eververse in this direction and beyond, all the defenders screamed to the high tops of the forums "will never happen", huh...... We told you so!

Tbh idc it doesn’t effect me soo I don’t have a problem

Edited by Guardian6370: 6/4/2019 6:58:05 PMIt’s a full price game ,with $30/$40 DLC /season pass . It’s pure greed by Bungie nothing else And it’s will get worse this is just the start of it Bungie is testing the water to see what they can get away with , sadly you people will complain but will continue to support them even throw more money at them and they will just continue with the money grab , no one to blame but yourselves for letting them get away with this crap . Don’t be surprised when they nerf what bright dust you gain in game , if they haven’t already done so

Look. It's time to actually do something. If you're not happy with the game, stop playing the game until they do something about it. It is the only control you have over their absurdly bad business policies. Don't play the game at all, don't give them the player numbers. If you're happy with this shit barge of a game, go play it, if you're not happy, don't play it. You can't make them fix it, you can only make them regret their design choices.
