I agree with your viewpoint. Something needs to be done about Player/Dev Feedback, and whilst some streamers will have brilliant ideas the facts don't lie that the lack of communication was detrimental for Destiny 2. Currently I'd say Destiny 2 is in a fantastic spot with community hype buzzing for the recently released Outbreak Perfected and Season Of Opulence on the horizon. But what is scary is that Destiny 3 will face it's biggest competition and that is Borderlands 3 which has shown that player feedback and goodwill can lead to an amazing evolution for both Co-Op shooters but also Looter Shooters as well. I think what Bungie needs to do is look at the most dedicated non-streamer members of the community such as myself and have a public Reddit or Bungie Forum AMA to get some feedback for next step. In doing so we might avoid a rushed game like Destiny 1 & 2 Vanilla and as the old saying goes "Third times the charm" so lets hope Bungie can ascend Destiny into gaming legacy with the greats such as DOOM 2016, Halo 3, Borderlands 2, and hell even Dark Souls as both feature obscure lore to find.

  • I don't know about a public AMA, too many different opinions when a survey limits to specific questions. IMO not everything about the game needs to be a conversation. I'm looking at it as more like certain changes in the game like I mentioned about the random rolls on how they had to be added back to the game. Creating a survey on something like that could have given Bungie other options and see what the player wanted to an extent and work from there.

  • I'll take BL3 over anything from Bungle without hesitation. I care more about gameplay than eye candy (though I do admit to having played the original Unreal far too much just because it was so gorgeous by the standards of its time).
