Kill high level enemies.
Some time ago.. it was stated that it is a percentage possibility and high level kills increase your chances.

Edited by lINVICTUSIl: 5/14/2019 12:55:22 PMYeah I read that theirs a counter involved but I don’t think it’s true. 300 for legendary 1800 for prime 2200 for exotic Red bar = 1 Yellow bar = 10 Guardians = 20 I can easily obtain about 4 - 5 prime engrams in one sitting so these numbers can’t be correct But it’s probably where I’m going wrong, I don’t raid because everyone’s like KWTD but I’ve never done them apart from laviathan 🤷♂️

Yeah.. It is still rng. So regardless what you kill.. I do not think there is a 100% guarantee. My exotic drops have been very random. One day I got three.. before that.. it was three weeks and only had 1 drop. BUT, doing raids helps because you will get at least one in each one.
