PC VERSION IS BROKEN (TO MANY CHEATERS)

PLEASE MAKE BAN REPORTS TRANSPARENT SO THE COMMUNITY KNOWS HOW MANY CHEATERS ARE IN DESTINY 2 AND THAT YOU GUYS ARE ACTIVELY STOPPING THEM... BECAUSE I FEEL LIKE YOU GUYS ARE DOING NOTHING TO STOP AIMBOTTERS. (PC VERSION) IS COMPLETELY OVERWHELMED WITH THEM. I'VE BEEN A LONG TIME HALO FAN AND I HATE TO SEE THAT BUNGIE HAS STOOPED THIS LOW, ONE OF THE BEST GAMING COMPANIES =/ [spoiler]Moderator edit: This thread has been updated with tags that are more appropriate. • Cheaters are sadly on all platforms. Got people with network manipulation and turbo controllers on console. Have network manipulation and hackers on PC. So yea they're all over. Bungie sadly does nothing about it.

  • That's what happened when you play any multiplayer online game on pc. Your precious pc master race is nothing but cheaters. Why? Quick access to the game files. Being able to to recode the source files. Instant access to the internet to buy hacks, aimbots, and so on. Being able to make said hacks and so on work with the files. Lists goes on and on. Play on consoles less cheating but still the same speculation on who's cheating and who isn't with a little less of the bullshit.

    • As a pc player ive never matched an aimbotter. Ddossers yeah, but aimbotters no. I have been accused of aimbotting though so maybe it’s just a common excuse

      • Its really hard to tell from a cheater or a good player in destiny. We always have radar on so we cant ever tell how the person was able to do a 180 headshot montage on you. Guns in destiny are forgiving and take no skill, most weapons are hitscan, it makes no sense to have gigantic hitboxes in destiny. on pc, we have more accuracy so it almost feels like cheating when you land your shots on someone who shouldn’t have taken damage. Destiny overall is a casual game and I honestly laugh a bit when people talk about meta and not nerfing the most broken weapons in destiny.

      • There's a good line between aimbot and good aim

I am a PC player, i play a lot of crucible and have to say i see cheaters very rarely, i think you are just accusing better players of cheating based on nothing.

      • While I'm abysmal PvP player and I'm not Crucible frequenter (about 130 matches or so), only once I've met a player with very suspicious behaviour, who OHK my guardian using Ace of Spades (titan with Res 10), survived our fireteam focused fire, and killed some of my team-mates while being on respawn counter, with something that doesn't work like DoT effect. But(t)! I've been explained there are network issues, that may explain this. Whether it is malevolent or accident - is not up to me to decide. Recently I've met very friendly Not Forgotten user, and playing against him was really a joy. It's like watching those flight demonstration teams work, you don't see one manoeuvre, then pause, then another manoeuvre, no, it was unstoppable cascade of manoeuvres. It wasn't cheating, he was just that good. I was really waiting with anticipation what trick he has in his sleeve next time, and he never, I mean ever disappointed. I don't care how many times he farmed kills on my guardian, but if anything or anyone was inspiring - that's him.

      • It's impossible. Bungie/Activision/Vicarious Visions made the game automatically ban anyone who uses another app that hooks onto Destiny 2. This is why you don't see any of these aimbots/hacks on Youtube. It isn't hard to imagine that there are people that are a better shot than you. Especially if you suck at the Crucible/game.
