Bungie, Activision Blizzard is planning to lay off 800 employees. Can you please pick up some of the talent for your plans for D2\D3 and fix the repetitive and tedious hoop jumping D2 has become now? Hire and use the talent for more story, bring more past story locations and content forward in game for us to re-explore to find old and new secrets incorporating story updates while also adding new content in world and for our characters other than just a new baddie to kill or another version of escalation protocol . Shoot and scoot is great for the first 500 hours of play and okay for the next 500 hours of game play and most of us would ignore the loot generation issues perceived if we had more depth or to see in game humans, awoken, EXO’s and all Guardians reclaiming past infrastructure added that would take Destiny to a whole other level. Edit: Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read this post. I have now read several articles about the downsizing of personnel. Most do say the majority of personnel being let go are not dev personnel but some indicate that a few are devs.... Also in reading they ( AVB ) are stream lining there own dev teams and may expand them but we are talking about 800 souls! being handed papers, surely some of the devs being let go or devs in training can be picked up to infuse some better thinking, ideas above the state of where Destiny is right now.
