TRIALS CANCELLED AGAIN WTF!!!!!!!
F*** Bungie and Destiny I’ve played this game loyally since year 1 Destiny 1 and now you guys cancel trials again and it probably won’t be back. Literally not caring about what the PVP community wants. It’s not hard to implement trials copy and paste D1 trials and make some tweaks. Competitive isn’t supposed to replace Trials. We would rather have the terrible D2 year 1 setup with the new weapon system than no trials at all!!!! I’m considering quitting although this is the only game I play. Bring back trials before Destiny 2 ends or I’m just done with this.

1 ReplyYou realize why it was canceled right? The way the game has shifted course, the way they had Trials set up... it would have been a shit show. The exotics in all classes that are broken and the new supers... the way the weapon system is set up and how fast TTK is... If they left Trials the way it was and threw it back into the weekly rotation like before- it would be on fire and burning to the ground. Bungie was smart actually to not re-introduce it. Means that it's not ready yet for the new system we have in place. Even if it takes a while, Bungie needs to get it right- other wise yeah... it'll burn down. If it doesn't come back... well... lets be honest it will probably come back. That was a big PvP thing and Bungie LOVES PvP... let them polish there turd a bit more till it's at least acceptable to show off at the dinner table as a "Look what I did!" thing.

It needed to go. It led to far too much toxicity in the PvP community as well as the requirement for Teams is not healthy for population without a proper LFG system in game. The only good thing about it was the viewer base on the game, which was high during D1, but D2 just doesn't have the numbers as D1. Let Trials die. 7 wins without a lose is bad odds without a way to tip them in your favor, either having a godly team, or cheats.

Sucks a bit since I've been waiting for Trials to return for ages now. I like how the equipment looks, and I'd like to have that shader.

10 RepliesIm pretty sure its never coming back, trials show the meta at its finest and players who don’t use the meta will complain even more about said guns being OP. Everyone is tired of nerfs so its common sense not to add a really toxic mode in destiny.

18 RepliesI’m. It sure what limited window if views you’re expressing when you say people want it back because the vast majority understands quite well that all trials really is was a way for paid carries to make a living. Nobody in their right mind thought trials was a real test of skill.

1 ReplyI’m gutted as well trials is respite for the sweatys and tryhards. It gave normal Pvp players a holiday in Pvp.
