The lunas Howl feels more than worth the grind and is a true pinnacle weapon. On the other hand the redrix broadsword maybe not as dofficult to acquire but definitely more grindy feels more useful in pve than pvp. Its slow rate of fire and time betweem bursts makes ot feel like it has a slower ttk than a regular bygones.
Now yes it has desperado which is a good perk but the time the deperado perk lasts coupled with the fact you need to kill someone to even get it to proc causes the peek to get little to no use from me. It seems like I would have to get a kill while taking little to no damage to really get use out of it, because by time you get a kill and reload to try to rapidly engage the next guardian your health is at a disadvantage.
Tldr: The broadsword is very situational and the moments I'm making use of the perk are few and far between. I'd hate to say it but as the broadsword stands I'm going to have to go back to my bygones.
