4 RepliesI finally got it today. Of course playing against a stack team of 4 with a hunter a Titan and 2 chaos reach warlocks... They got theirs first... I invaded over and over. Had to use my chaos reach to take out their warlocks. Ended up getting 9 guardian kills in just the prime evil timeframe... And my team still couldnt get it past halfway.... I had 135% heal! I give up

Got my first meatball to spear and my teams IQ tripled we clutched the match from the depths of hell.(it was also against a four stack)

4 RepliesI’m about to reset for 3rd time and all I need is ship but the meatball won’t spawn! I play pvp mostly so if I don’t get ship by reset That’s it, I’m not resetting 3x in a season again🤦🏻♂️

1 ReplyFor all those claiming 'Don't run solo'. I've killed the Meatball numerous times and always run solo. The trick - steal all the heavy till you have a full QueenBreakers or Sleeper (good luck stealing that much ammo), save your super and make sure your EP shotty is fully stocked and you have a decent primary for the orbs. Then realize you will use all of it and end up doing >60% of the damage while the rest of your team can't even handle the stray ads nor invader.

That or why the taken don't look at me or hurt me. But if they whole team is in a well of radiance shotgunning the prime and I cast my chaos reach, WHY THEN IS IT ABLE TO BE BLOCKED BUT THE TAKEN. Instead of wiping the team easily grouped I can't even kill one!

I really want to know why people don't kill the wizards and instead try to deal damnage on the prime... I'm tired of seeing people waist supers and heavy on the prime before even 2 stacks. Then why do people invade the second the port is open for the prime? If you die right away that let's them clear the adds and kill the prime before you can come back. If you get kills you do no healing of their prime... So what do you do? Wipe them at best, get sent back with 30 seconds before you can go back when they have a 5 second respawn? Who really won that battle? And a good team still has their supers to kill the prime fast. You need to wait so you can kill after or during their supers to heal the prime for everything they just did...

1 ReplyLol I was playing 4 stack. And I told my team if we get meatball make sure you get the taken shield it attached itself to. I have Geomaged chaos reach so yea. Im blasting her with chaos reach 2 seconds in she goes immune and my teammates are sitting in the back with heavy no intention to shoot the ball im just sitting there like okay I won't shoot the boss if you don't listen.

I’d 4 stack it constantly and I’d tell everyone: “When you see the jelly donut, DO NOT panic, DO exactly what we’ve been doing.” Everybody’s response: “I’m not gonna panic, wtf are you talking about? I’m good, blah blah blah... “ Jelly donut appears. Everybody but me: “urmagurd! Urmagurd! Urmagurd! What do I do?!! Urmagurd?” The Titan MP’s while the bosses shield is up. Both other hunters BB separately with zero Primeval slayer, guy invades, regenerates our boss, they win. Everybody but me: “WHAT THE -blam!-?!!! WHAT HAPPENED?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” Me: “.... sigh 🙄😒.”

By definition those players are called the thumbless Thumbless: player or players who's idiocy increases when a boss different from what they are use to fighting spawns and they have to do (mechanics) It's odd how people fail fighting him and they fight this same boss twice in the story with the same mechanics... I'm happy I'm done with looking for it

8 RepliesIf you are solo, dont play gambit. Its just not worth it. Ive learned, if i cant find a team from my clan, or in the fireteam finder... im doing strikes, public events, or lost sectors... And why is it when i run with a full team, i rarely face other full teams, but when i run solo, i face full teams constantly? Seems broken.

Saw it for the first time today. My teammate only had to blade barrage and we would’ve killed it, instead he chose to use it on the invader that was extremely weak already
