These new pinnacle rewards are not gonna compete with Luna’s Howl, Redrixs, or even Bygones... This is a terrible attempt to balance out your stat sheet by making the 3 least popular weapon types pinnacle rewards.

Ya know, i imagine people running the grenade launcher with lunas. I can already feel the cancer flowing.
-
When two of the pinnacle rewards are built on archetypes that are currently shit... you make them super easy to get.... Bungie trying to pull the wool over peoples eyes.
-
3 RepliesThe gambit one will be decent in gambit, which is where it should be decent. Especially with a backup mag mod and hopefully a reload speed masterwork.
-
So Luna’s is trash lmao 😂 that grenade rocket launcher that’s coming
-
12 RepliesI appreciate all of the new things Bungie continually delivers. These are free grinds to enhance our gaming experience. What’s wrong with that?

18 RepliesEdited by Mara Sov’s Step Bro: 11/22/2018 1:47:10 AMDo you think before posting? Two of them are PvE rewards for suited PvE activities, with the auto being the best archtype and likely becoming meta. The other is a PvP reward... a kinetic rocket launcher... to compliment the best PvP weapon in game... an energy handcannon that rhymes with "Tuna Owl"... not to replace it. Use your head.

1 ReplyNobody has them yet. So you can’t say they’re trash yet.

2 RepliesI can’t tell if you’re serious or not, the birthright is a great weapon and the fact that the new one is a more consistent version of it makes me very excited. Broadsword... while I love the weapon doesn’t feel like a pinnacle weapon, bygones and go figure outclass it, it’s pretty disappointing that easy weapons to get are better than a pinnacle weapon. The auto looks really promising but until autos get a much needed buff it’ll just be another weapon sitting in my vault, fusion rifles have always had a place in my heart (plan c was one of my very first exotics) so I’m looking forward to the new one. You’re right, none of them (including broadsword) can compare to lunas on paper but until we get our hands on them we won’t know for sure.

Boy is this guy stupid... Hint my man they aren't all supposed to be amazing crucible weapons especially when two of them aren't earned in crucible. If you look at it that way they are actually perfect for their activity. Fusion gets not only bonus damage but also explosions. Meaning you can use it on not only majors but also for add clear (maybe people will get off their Ikelos for once to play with it). The auto rifle is exactly what it should be. Am amazing workhouse for killing lots of enemies fast. In case you didn't notice they built the new perk around rampage which is perfect. There are enemies constantly spawning that you have to race to kill. So you kill them and keep getting rampage stacks and increasing your rate of fire. As for the grenade launcher it is at least very unique and I guarantee you it will change up the crucible meta at least once people have it. Not just a shotgun fest anymore if people can blast you with that thing from afar. All in all each weapon is a game changer for its own mode as it should be.
-
Maybe we wait until players actually play with the weapon before calling them trash? What I'm hearing is I don't use gernade launchers so nobody does. I want something different.
-
the auto rifle would need to have an enhanced version of rampage as well as the increasing rate of fire and a much larger magazine to grab my attention, but it doesn’t. another season of using midnight coup i guess.
-
Redrix is trash lmao It’s a worse Outlaw + Kill Clip combo.
-
Not really warlock.
-
I'm happy with a good fusion rifle to chase, there isn't any real good ones that are unique and legendary. I'm also happy with an autorifle that makes rampage better. I won't touch comp with a barge pole so the nade launcher has no value to me but I can't wait to laugh at how salty people get trying for it!
-
seems to me like Bungie is experimenting with some New Perks, which we kind of need since Outlaw Rampage and Kill Clip are getting real boring real quick
-
They don't want to balance the game Activision just wants slaves to grind so they will come back with their money and time because of their addiction While Bungie, they just like to smoke big fat joints and don't GAF
-
Judging something before you’ve even used it. Ok.

2 RepliesEdited by RingersCheckmate: 11/22/2018 6:28:13 AMThey aren’t meant to do anything with the PvP meta. They’re reasons to grind Strikes and gambit. May be a revolution, but not every update is meant to revolve around crucible.
-
They're not meant to balance the game, they're meant to give you something to work towards.
-
I think youre over thinking this one
-
We havent even seen gameplay yet bro. You could be right but you could just as easily be wrong
-
They arent meant to compete with Lunas, or even be good Crucible weapons. The Auto is going to only be good at trash mobs, and the Fusion is only going to be at full strength with a full magazine (battery). Which rarely happens in PvP. I'm actually happy that we get pinnacle weapons, and it makes me less salty about not having the time or dedication to PvP to get those.
-
They are just throwing stuff out there to keep people grinding for rewards. It doesn’t matter what they make the goal is to get more players playing more hours.
-
They put more thought into these pinnacle rewards and their perks. I am stoked. Redrix and Bygones are not on Luna's level. They are solid tho.
-
1 ReplyThere will be a host of new weapons too. Not enough info on what else will be out there when the DLC drops. We could see a new weapon TTK weapon that will put them all to shame
-
1 ReplyEdited by CIKiller: 11/22/2018 4:42:01 AMThe pinnacle rewards are meant to be used for specific roles, just because they don't seem "as OP" as Luna's does not mean they will be bad weapons. Plus, you could pair the new crucible pinnacle weapon with Luna's howl, imagine the salt.
