Switzerland doesn’t really have gun problems and literally every household has a gun. Oh, and these weapons are fully automatic, military-grade firearms. But they don’t seem to have a gun violence problem. Wonder why...
-
Switzerland has legal gun shops as well and they can legally sell military style rifles (other than the Swiss standard issue SG) to civilians.
-
Aye, because everyone is trained to use them.
-
Well yeah, it's Switzerland.
-
The Czech Republic, Germany and France don't ban them and they do just fine.
-
You're not wrong, but you're a little incorrect though. Most firearms in homes are not automatic. That's only for the military and militia.
-
Switzerland has mandatory military service for its citizens.

-
Where did you make that up from? They absolutely have access to ammunition whenever they want, and legally store it at home. You can even legally reload your own ammunition at home.
-
They do have ammunition, it’s the basis of the defense of the country. Everyone is armed and military trained, in case of invasion the people can fight where they stand if needs be.
