Exotic drop rates.
I've been running two characters non stop since forsaken has been released. I've only had two new exotics drop in that time (besides the ones you earn) . The sixth coyote and lord of the wolves. I find that Rn Jesus has flat out abandoned me. Is anyone else going through this long of an unlucky streak? I finish all the weakly powerful gear on both and complete the raid with them as well. Hopefully this new patch turns my luck around.

I've played every night since forsaken dropped an I've received 4 exotics total. All but 1 have been year one and the one year 2 was lord of wolves. This is worse then hunting for an exotic in d1.

1 ReplyYeah I hit 11 with 1000 voices and all of the quest exotics including malfeasance. Problem is when I went 5 weeks doing all of the milestones and raids on my characters and only got dupes (besides quest drops). 5 weeks. No new exotics- on a new dlc. All of the exotics I got were in week 1 and 7 with 5 weeks in between of only dupes. That’s just ridiculous. I did milestones and raids on 2 of my characters this week and just stopped. I’m not going to grind like this on my 3rd. I will wait until after the update and even then I just have a real bad taste in my mouth about playing this game just for exotic drops now. The excitement is definitely gone. Not every single exotic in the game needs to be like gjallerhorn in year 1 never dropping. Bungie- why????

Complete all the dailies/weeklies, crucible/gambit, blind-well (all tiers), 4 Last Wish completions & endless bounties (Vanguard/Spider/Gambit), and have received 2 non-quest related exotics: Wavesplitter & Heart of Inmost Light. The last dropped about a month ago... I've given up being excited about exotics. Went from stoked to looking forward to other RDR2 & Fallout. It's not that exotics aren't dropping (Have had about 25 or so drop), it's the DUPLICATES. I don't think RNG is truely random. I think there are loot Tiers that players get siloed into when they create there profiles. Some that get regular/great drops. Some that get the occasional great drops & those that get shafted regularily. This way keeps grinders grinding and those with the great drops playing to gloat.... I belong to the "F u group" - 1,400+ hours in D1 without ever having a Gjallarhorn drop...

Only new one is the warlock boots and Cerberus . All 3 characters at 600 as well. And have all the quest exotics and have run the raid ! :( I’ve gotten plenty of ace of spades , that’s my most common drop . Kinda sucks .

I’ve gotten 10... maybe try running FT medallions and public event ghosts whenever you do blind well (has worked most weeks and got me chromatic fire and two tailed fox just from there)

My first exotic drop of Forsaken, about two weeks ago, was a y2 Starfire Protocol with perks so bad I fed it to a legendary and upgraded my y1. My second drop just happened. It was an Ace of Spades from the Ascendant Challenge. I finished the Ace of Spades quest about 20 minutes ago. Meaning within 20 minutes of getting Ace of Spades... I randomly got another, equal item level Ace of Spades. Is there no duplicate protection anymore?! What the hell happened?!?! I really like Forsaken, but the complaints are true. Exotic drops are borked.

I got a black talon from quick play crucible today. And a lord of wolves from rumble a few weeks ago and that's it..

1 ReplyI got one of each character all at 600 light and do all end game activities and the new exotic drop rate is -blam!-ing absurd. I even got back to back year 1 exotics as my reward for completing raid encounters. This game is getting annoying AF.

Two Lord of Wolves (on the same character) and a Cerebus+1 about 2-3 weeks ago in the span of two days. Was kinda hopin' for a Two Tailed Fox, but I've not seen a drop since.

I had my second piece of Forsaken armour drop. My first for my Titan. I got the One-Eyed Mask. I’m looking forward to trying it out.

3 RepliesFour forsaken weapons. Two from quest two from being lucky I guess. Ace of spades which should be a hunter exclusive handcannon and chaperone. The other two Lord of wolves and black talon. That's it nothing else will drop NOTHING.

Your luck will turn around. Don’t tell my friends but I got 4 forsaken exotics in the last two days. Out of my total of 5 forsaken exotics so far. And three characters at 600

2 RepliesTechnically lord of wolves is a quest exotic. It’s RNG where you get it but at least you know how to get it. You’ve had one exotic drop IMO. One more than me.

Same here and I've had enough. On the same day that the rosters empty out for people trying rdr2, Bungie seriously sends Xur with Telesto! Could at least have given people a way to get 1 exotic weapon. I've only had those through quest lines. Normally I frown on the d2 haters, but I'm off to rdr2 for a while until they finally get the message

You’re not the only one. I received the lord of wolves the first week and haven’t seen a single exotic in three weeks. Until yesterday I received my second lord of wolves... 😑

Just got my first exotic in over 2 weeks, worldline zero...

2 active characters, both 600. 2 actual exotic drops, both y1. Saved 4 keys from Riven twice, and only got legendaries.

I got two tailed fox during the first week of forsaken. Not a single new exotic since AND not a single exotic of any kind for 180 ish hours of gameplay. It's beyond a joke that bungie thinks this is okay for the people that PAID to get the dlc for the new supers and exotics.
