Please let these two weapons into the Forsaken weapon system, these are good guns, and they are decent- but they need to be brought forward into the new system.
Imagine getting them with the new Masterworks that they can have, the mod system... I could care less if these two got random rolls, just let us apply mods to these two weapons at the very least.

2 RepliesEdited by Ember: 10/23/2018 11:24:58 PMI think Sturm in general needs to be looked at, I get the whole idea of the exotic is pairing it with Drang, but with special weapons having returned, using both Sturm and Drang kinda feels like you're gimping yourself since you could be running a sniper/shotgun/fusion in addition to a primary, and without Drang, the exotic perk of Sturm is... it reloads your energy weapon. It's very evident Sturm was designed for a different era of the game, compared to something like Ace of Spades. Both hand cannons have a way to gain bullets that deal higher damage than their archetype's norm, but one requires running two primaries, while the other doesn't

2 RepliesIt’s a huge slap in the face to the playerbase that our Year 1 gear wasn’t updated on the spot when the Year 2 patch landed. It’s a massive wrong Bungie needs to correct before they’re worthy of any respect going forward. That the “Investment Team” couldn’t figure that out and yet came up with a broken economy for infusion is a testament to their gross incompetence.
-
11 RepliesAnd give us a way to reacquire Drang if it isn't in our collections. I don't understand why Tyra no longer sells it.
-
3 RepliesI have all of them except the mini-tool. Bungie you heard this man, bring them back. The drang isn't that great of a hand cannon, but whether we wanted it or not, we've stepped into a war with the Cabal on Mars. So let's get to taking out their command, one by one. Valus Ta'aurc. From what I can gather, he commands the Siege Dancers from an Imperial Land Tank just outside of Rubicon. He's well protected, but with the right team, we can punch through those defenses, take this beast out, and break their grip on Freehold.

2 RepliesI honestly don't know why everything can't be updated and used throughout the lifespan of the game. Dropping all the year 1 gear, both in this game and in D1, was a bad move in my opinion.

2 RepliesOnly if you agree to add service revolver to your list can this happen.

5 RepliesStop bitching about old stuff and ask for some new stuff instead

Edited by Midnight: 10/24/2018 6:27:46 AMCrap I didn't see you made this post before I made my lesser one...
-
Omg! I totally forgot about the mini tool
-
1 ReplyI just use masterworked Drang on Solar Singe weeks, that gun totally owns regardless of it being a set roll

Edited by JohnTaper: 10/23/2018 9:39:17 PMGive em a few months...

Drang especially since sturm kinda needs it

I agree with your post 100%. I was just thinking about this a few days ago. I’m sure no one in the community would mind those 2 weapons moving to year 2. Actually, I wouldn’t mind a mini-quest to obtain them again.
-
old armor can have new mods why cant old weapons....
-
I'd say just bring them forward with mods. I don't think they're meant for random rolls, but I would love to see a dank ass drang roll. That sidearm is so good.
-
8 RepliesAnd man o’ war. But we need more weapon pairs in general. Imagine if aos had a sniper like the hunter exclusive in d1. If Polaris lance had a primary auto or shotty to pair with it. All this was looking good and then they just stopped with mini tool and drang.

With shotguns back and the overall weakness of smgs, denerfing the minitool really does make sense...

5 RepliesEdited by Cinderchar: 10/23/2018 1:51:24 PMI get the feeling the reason they are leaving Y1 gear in the past is so they can rebrand it for future content similar to what they did with Origin/Horror Story. So I think a lot of out Y1 gear will come forward, but we will be reacquiring it through more tedious grinding. Why would Bungie stop their formula of making you grind for something, taking it away, and then making you grind for it again when it still seems to be working?
-
1 ReplyI haven't heard if there will be any efforts to bring anything else forward from Y1. If they do nothing else, Drang and Minitool are 100% perfect candidates to get this treatment: they are part of a current exotic set. While they're at it, they need to redo the Mida catalyst, as it is frankly ass as far as the eye can see. Keep in mind, part of the strategy of not pulling old stuff forward is to encourage us to use the new stuff. But special cases like these 2 definitely need to be changed, as they support a current exotic.

1 ReplyThey should bring them back with curated rolls and only that specific roll. Yet you can add any mod you want.
-
9 RepliesI agree especially since you have to use drang to make use of Sturm.
-
Don't worry. They'll release a season pass for year 1 weapons/gear. You'll have to pay for the base game and all dlc's all over again.
-
1 ReplyAgreed, should be updated to have random rolls and attaching Y2 mods
-
3 RepliesWe need to bring y1 gear forward. So many good armor sets that are useless. EP armor.. COO.. Nightfall drops.. Calus raid gear.. planet side gear..

If they did bring these guns up, it might give us a chance at getting a Primeval!
