Matchmaking is fine. Need penalties to people who leave matches.

What matchmaking it doesn't have any to begin with they removed it months ago and refuse to bring it back in that's why you see a full solo completely destroy the enemy team or you find 6 stacks vs a full team of solos

This is what happens when you let streamers & elites dictate MM to bungie. It ends up being being pure trash. It needs some SBMM in it & some kind of team balancing. You need to get people to play, not discourage them. That is all this current system is doing. The elites & streamers have asked for a system that trys its best to force you to stay in a game with them or suffer punishment. Quiter punishments dont work. Never have never will. If someone is frustrated enough to quit they are not going to care they are banned for a houre, 2 hours, 4 hours, or even the rest of the day, even the points they lose. You try to incress the punishment & you will just have people not play because its not worth it, or the cheating, DDOSing, & network hacks will just ramp up even more. You want to keep people in games, then stop having them be curb stomped every other match, fix the lag, enforce rules, & balance weapons. MM is just broken. Matches feel rigged. One game my gun will hit its target & the next it wont. One match it takes 3 burts to kill me, next ypu can throw a wet towel at me & ill die. Spawing into a super, spawing into the same super that just killed me (like the game is trying to give the guy a 7th column metal). Team balancing is really bad. Like putting all the low ranks on 1 team & stacking the other team. Team shooting was a thing in y1, now they lowered the TTK & people are still team shooting. You even peek your dead. Broken excotics completely throwing off any kind of balance (example that hunter one for blades). Ace of spades has far to much range for a hand cannon, it might as well be a scout rifle. The bygones is the same, it has way more range than other rifles who stats have more range. Throw in some telesto that should be in the heavy & the sleaper that just needs to be banned from gambit. Then you have the elites PVP requested weapons like the lunas howl, that can just about out class any weapon & currently being used to hender others trying for it. Also why is it that it always seems the PVP weapons out class any PVE equal, even in PVE. All the gambit weapons are just a little out of balance with the rest of the game (not including a few choice raid weapons) Weapon balance is completely out of wack. Some hand cannons & pluse rifles have far to much range, to the point they might as well be scout rifles. Random rolls might have added variety, but in PVP now your just left wondering "was that a perk, was he lagging, aimbot maybe, did he even get a kill to activate that perk, do i not have enough void,arc,solar resistance?" Its just a way to mask cheating or a bad connection. Shotguns have 2 much range & available ammo with little choices to counter them, restricting choices. You have to use a shotgun or something equally short range hard hitting to combat it. Alway & i mean always now there is a shotgun sitting camped in a corner & there is almost nothing you can do about it. Grenades are 2 week, why do titans get the only 1 hit melee? Why is hunters favored so much? The reclassing of weapons just put everything out of wack. Then bungie completely ignores the main player base. Dmg01, cosmo, & the rest responds to no one but top class. Posting photos of them getting top end rewards (LH) & long win streaks with there streamer & elite teams like its a cake walk. I remember one of them posting how they got redrix claymore in just a few days like it was nothing, thanks to some top end help they can call on anytime. Some problems are never addressed or fixed. Bungies whole thing with "not adding anything to your account" is just a excuse to be lazy & keep you replaying something after a fix if ever fixed (example: remember the prestige raid ornaments. How for some they did not unlock properly even after completing the objectives. Never fixed or addressed. You just had to keep doing it over & over & hope it unlocked this time. With all the tracking whats the harm in giving to thoes who earned it? Now the challenges are gone & your SOL) The cheating & network manipulation has completely gotten out of control & bungie is doing nothing about it. People dont even bother to hide it any more. If you ask them about it or say your going to report them, they just laugh & say "go ahead. I have been doing it for a long time & never been banned once. Bungie is not going to do a thing." Has any one noticed the in game report function broken? If you or the cheater leaves the game you can no longer report them (you know what 99% of trials players do. Leave the match before the final score comes up) that is how bad the cheating is, that bungie broke the report tool to stop getting reports. Lastly bungie dont even look at there own forums for feedback. The place where most of the players are daily, due to the apps integration with the game. They choose reddit where the elites can downvote any real legitimate feedback they dont like so far down the list it will never be seen. Where bungie can always see the "this is great" post from the top % upvoted by a bunch of followers who have no concept of what the upvote button is for. They just click it because others did or "hey look its that popular guy". The other place bungie goes is twitter. Where they can again respond to the top % & pretend to lesson to other, when in reality they have you muted or just plain ignore you. Im sorry but you cant get good feedback & improve the game for EVERYONE if you dont hear from both sides, both positive & negative, & find a good middle ground for both.

Most people only play Comp for Luna's Howl and then forget the mode exists. I saw a thread on Reddit a couple of weeks ago that looked at the amount of people that were above 2100 and 5100 Glory across all three platforms. It was only around 1200 people at 5100 or higher and around 18k at 2100 or higher out of 750k tracked people. Comp is still a dead playlist that possibly 95% of the playerbase doesn't care about though.

Checked your stats. Yes you lost a bunch of games, but nothing here shows that your own lack of skill does not play a part. Also you need to consider when you play. 10am-4pm and 9pm-1am are the times when you are going to get the least sweats and noobs, sweats usually play after school/work, or late night. Noobs play after school time a lot. Morning times are somewhat random to play, could suggest 7-10 but again not sure.

Pretty impressive level of salt there, bud. Maybe focus on improving as a player instead of whining on the forums.

Even though it was crappy, destiny pvp still managed to be fun and good for laughs. D2 is just crap. Obviously any talent bungLe had left from the Halo days is long gone.

To be honest, that’s 100% your fault. Should have went and did something else after the 2nd or 3rd loss in a row. Gotta know when your time is and isn’t.
