I think a world without money would be a world without choice. As some people choose not to work and are happy being lazy. Would these get an equal share? Or would they be forced to work their share? Would be interesting.

It’s psychological slavery, responsible for more than half of the atrocities committed throughout human history. And perhaps worst of all, it claims credit for all the good in the world, despite throughout history, doing nothing but the opposite. I can’t think of anything more insidious.

I disagree money is a far easier way to trade. Without money we would just use something else, social media is a way to have the world far more connected and I agree on religion

1 ReplyAlso those bathroom door locks that are just buttons that push in and click. I want to know my public restroom door is locked properly, and the only way to do that with the button-locks is to turn the handle, thus unlocking the door. With bolts, you can physically see and/or feel the lock moving into place. I get that the mechanism is secure and all, but this is just basic human psychology folks.

Religion is a belief in something usually a God or in early man multiple gods to explain things they didnt understand or give meaning to their lives Social media was developed so ppl could communicate easier over long distances and depending on the media see each other. How ppl use these things depends on their intentions. Money, Religion and Social media by themselves arent inherently terrible in fact it could be argued that they have done more good than bad. Money allows ppl to help and feed the poor as it pays for goods which other ppl supply. Religion gives ppl hope that their lives will get better after bad things happen to them. Social media allows ppl in poor countries or communities to supply the money and religious communities, using social media, raise that money to help those poor countries or communities.

Money - I completely agree. The other two? Good things that [i]can[/i] (sometimes) be abused. They can also be used for great things and are both usually good.
