Where is variks?! Explained

In the strike warden of nothing we find out that variks is no longer in the piston of elders so he has left his servitor to take charge. As we all know variks is loyal to the fallen by trying to keep them as a reliable group of creatures like himself. After the red legion attacked the tower and the reef. Zavala and variks spoke about ‘the future of the reef’. Variks said that he felt like they went part of the tower as the reef were being targeted more than the tower. Zavala replies “I made my offer to Petra after the war” his voice was gruff but not uncaring. “She made her choice, has something changed?” At this point variks is feeing that the fallen are on the edge of extinction from the solar system, after all the fallen kells killed, houses fallen and other disasters. “Your will must remain your own” he said to himself. “Your the last of Eliksni of house judgment. The destiny of your own people try in your hands. You will stand for the fallen” He returned to the prison of elders and received 2 new prisoners. Prince uldren sov and the said to be dead baron, delivered by cayde-6 and Petra. He instantly realises that he is not well, so they sneak him into the prison of elders and lock him in a cell away from the other prisoners. Variks really struggles to see him in this way. He even refers to him as “Your grace”. The baron looked stronger than before so he drains his ether by using a servitor, but the servitor explodes. Variks could see something was wrong with this ether. It was darker, tainted, something he could not identify. He examined the remains of the servitor and feared what ever the ether could be was toxic. He moved through the fog like gas. It diddnt dissipate like traditional ether. It was darker, heavier and opaque. He tried again but instead used another servitor and some taken powers to extract his ether but still failed. “Ha! You still believe I have Kaliks? Fool! He abandoned us! But my ether is no longer enslaved by the machines. I have evolved!” Laughed the baron. He continues to experiment with the ether and run the prison of elders hoping he can find a cure to save uldren sov from his madness. It seems he used other fallen to experiment on this. Finally, variks’ experiment succeeded but not how he expected. The ether still resulted in fallen death but it was a live GIVING substance. Though the dark ether lingered like a heavy fog, it reached out to empty vessels. It found one of the dead dregs that lies on the floor. It slipped in its corpse like a slow inhalation, stretching them to the point of bursting, pulling them to their feet. The dark ether gave them a new life..... This means that the dark ether can revive dead fallen After continuing on his experiments. The baron says “father says... you know were your true loyalty lies” Like I said earlier, variks is loyal to the fallen, his people, his kind. Loyalty is what Bragg’s variks So he programs a servitor, the one we fight in the prison of elders strike. And he resets all the systems in the prison of elders which means that all the prisoners cells are now open, including yes... uldren sov. variks makes two recordings: for the fist he disabled his voice synth and began, in the deep resonance of high speak, to give commands. He diddnt know how many would answer his call but he had to try. For the second he turned his voice synth back on. He said “they call me betrayer. I who was loyal they do not think I hear the words. Bug. Insect...... fallen” there was a bit of emotion in his voice. “Cannot stomach this hate” the ships engines began to rumble, on his screens he could see the explosions of the prison. His ships began to move pass the bays barrier and moved off. “No where else to go. No where else to be, here.” He drew himself up to his full height. “And so do I become variks. The kell. House judgment envoy to the Eliksni people. No choice”. He chuckled. His voice was then calm. “Eliksni must rise.... yes?” YES! It was variks who released the prisoners, who released uldren sov. But he is loyal to the fallen and is going for the kell leadership, to reunite them to their new kell. Let me know what you guys think. Will we see variks again? If so where and when. Thank you for reading, looking forward to your comments and thoughts
