Honestly I was expecting a ton of threads about it by now.
I'm thinking of picking it up, but I'm not sure yet. Just got ni no Kuni 2, that game is fun as hell.

It does for Spider-Man what Arkham Asylum did for Batman. It is very fun to just run around stopping random crimes and beating down thugs.

You will fall in love the SECOND you start web swinging. I know I did

This sub is primarily Xbox dominated. Reddit has tons of Spider-Man posts though.

1 ReplyA good 9/10 from me if i give you my opinion without actually breaking things down. If i were to do an actual review it'd have to drop down to an 8.5. Still definitely worth the $60 regardless. If you love spider man you'd get this game easily.

3 RepliesFrom what I’ve been playing so far it’s a really good game. Swinging about the city and stopping random crimes is great the story so far is really good and there’s a nice amount but not too many collectibles. My only gripe is those instances where you play as MJ, I bought the Spider-Man game to play as Spider-Man. Luckily so far you don’t play as her very often. Other then that the games very good.

Edited by DUURJOB: 9/9/2018 2:04:38 PMNow that I’ve gotten some hours into it, it’s so much fun. I’ve never had so much fun just traversing a city. It really makes you feel like Spider-Man. Like it’s a Spider-Man comic come to life. This is what I wish the MCU did with Spider-Man. An older college grad Spider-Man with an impressive resume and an aunt May that isn’t a milf... Writing is seriously on point

Last time I saw him, he didn't feel so good...

It’s amazing I like it better than the Batman games

6 RepliesMy twitter timeline is filled with people enjoying Spider-Man. I went with Dragon Quest XI so I will probably pick up Spider-Man next month

Amazing, no pun intended.

3 RepliesEdited by Bake8935: 9/8/2018 4:50:16 AMNever read the comics, but it really feels like I’m playing one of the old Spider-Man movies. I’m only a couple of hours in, but its a technical marvel, and very fun. Not a huge fan of the combat though. I’ve had enough of the Batman style combat.

Edited by SpongyMallard7: 9/8/2018 6:42:49 PMIt's awesome. Combat and web-swinging is super fun and the story so far is also pretty good. Graphics are amazing even in 1080p. I like to mess around with photo mode with free cam and see all the little details in the game. When on the phone, the phone will actually say who is calling. There is one part where someone calls a guy and it's a blocked number and it even says, "unknown". Little details like that are so cool, because they don't really matter, but it just shows that the developers really cared. Also, a little tip. I don't know if it says in the move list, but if you pull back on the left joystick and press O at the same time in the air, you'll "break". It helps because landing in a precise spot can sometimes be hard.

I’m watching TheRadBrads playthrough but I skipped ahead to the ending from another creator and without spoiling it I can say you’ll be happy if you buy it. Why? It’s one of the most jaw dropping games as of this moment. The city the web swinging the combat and story plus the soundtrack is probably some of the best hands down. As for the cutscenes That’s where you’ll really fall in love with it.
