Saint XIV vs Cayde
So in the last year we saw(ish) two of the most powerful, if not at least popular characters meet their end.
One dropped twenty+stories in a wreckage, killed off maybe 30-50 scorn, then got triple tapped, snipe to the ghost, flail to the body, bullet to the head(?).
The other went deep into the infinite forest, dug in, and caught off thousands if not more vex for nigh eternity until a Mind made to stop him, stopped him.
As cool as the Cayde video is, why am I left feeling that Cayde pales in comparison to any significant figure in Destiny Lore? At least in battle prowess, he is pretty dang smart and crafty for a Hunter.

1 ReplySt. 14 was one of the most powerful guardians in existence. Cayde was just the current mentor for hunters (Ana Bray and Shin Malphur are way more powerful).

Cayde got a bullet to the chest. If you look at the cutscene where he says his final words with our guardians, you'll see a massive hole in his upper chest.
