Who thinks 50 faction engrams is too long of a grind.
I like the faction rally grind but farming 1000 token gets boring after a while.I think the patrol missions should at lease give 1 renown and one faction token or one or the other and the high vale target needs to have 2 tokens and 1 or 2 renown,and then increase the amount of faction tokens by one after you lose a pvp match and plus have all faction gear and weapons,ghost,sparrow,ship,and shaders equipped to increase the amount of tokens or renown or both.All comments are welcome.

For me, I didn't find the grind to level 50 to be excessive, as the daily objectives on all three characters significantly shortened the grind. The problem for me is the additional grind to get the armor ornaments, especially the ones that require full armor sets. I was able to get it done on my main, but I do not yet have full armor sets on my alts, and completing the armor sets relies purely on rng. So, grinding out more packages to get the full armor sets, just so I can do more grinding after that to get the ornaments is silly to me. On my titan, I just need one more piece, and I need two on my hunter, but the ornament grind for both is too much to bother. Personally, I would prefer the iron banner system, in which ornament progress is shared for all three characters. The grind to get the ornaments for one character is sufficient. If there must be separate grinds for the different classes, at least make the armor purchasable at certain levels.

4 Replies~Yep! and after reaching rank 58 with token cashed almost entirely by Titan.... not one Titan Mark! Have had many duplicates/triplicates etc of other armour. RNG sucks

1 ReplyBro, literally just do the challenges on every character, every day for the whole week. You MIGHT have to actually GRIND 10 levels, if that. The thing that frustrates people, is the sense of urgency. It's way easier and less tedious than it seems.

A bit long for me, but I dont mind that it took me 2 Rallies to get to 50.... my problem was doing all my turn-ins on 1 character and not getting even 1 single complete set of armor... now the question is, if I cant get enough next time to get to 50 can I hold those coins so I get a head start on the first rally of season 4?

Not long at all I started casually on Friday and last night I hit 50. So got the sun shot catalyst 👍. Then this morning master worked it.

I'm pretty sure they wanted it to be that way cuz they thought it would take most players multiple rallies to get. With that said, last rally I grinded out DO. This one I grinded out FWC. Next one im skipping NM, it's just to much work not enough of a pay off.

I think it's fine but the time we have to do it (a week) is frickin' crazy. I think faction rallies should be a two or three week event.

Everyone until they fix this sizzle. Have packages in lost sectors grant tokens again if you have renown. Boost drop amount in strikes to a minimum of 10. Allow renown to be removed at any time. Make patrols drop 2 tokens. Boost crucible win and loss tokens to 5 and 10 respectively. Have nightfalls grant 20 tokens or one level. Prestige should grant 2 levels worth once per week. Raid should drop 50 obce per week on completion. High risk should be high reward.

with the vast majority of Faction tokens dropping from Lost Sectors & Public event it does feel like an infinite Grind. Let us earn Tokens in Most World Activities during Faction Rallies

This faction rally joined DO... To get the cataclyst, and maybe ornaments. But after the last faction rally, I still feel burned out after pledging to NM.. Rank 50 getting all Titan ornaments and cataclyst.. Still need a helmet from DO, to even think of getting ornaments. And only rank 10.. [spoiler]complete 25 strikes for ornament with full armor equipped......rng getting armor[/spoiler] Same with IB... Destiny was a grind, and rng drops sometimes big pain in the arsss.. But still better in my opinion

Yea its a little much but not impossible. Im at 41 now for FWC with 1 character but it just gets boring after awhile.

The problem a lot of people encounter, I think, is that they try to do as much/all of it in one sitting. It's silly. Like most of D2, you get diminishing returns from that strategy. Everything in D2 maximizes returns on shorter, more regular stints. With the faction rallies, you can earn more than half your rank 50 goal just by doing the daily and weekly faction milestones on all 3 characters. If you know what you are doing these can be done in less than an hour a day. Sprinkle in a few max renown lost sectors during each of these runs, and it's not so bad.

35 would be a better number, that way those that work have more of a chance to obtain.

50 is fine. I completed mine yesterday. I was actively avoiding doing activities that will give me anymore factions tokens that i wont use
