FYI Confirmed : D2, Y1 Exclusive Content will be available to all players with the release of Forsaken (PC/XB1)

3 RepliesEdited by Xurelle: 6/17/2018 5:17:15 PMWhat we really have to worry about is A.) these purported "gun slot changes" being reverted a few weeks after launch, once Bungie has most of the money they're ever going to see for Forsaken box sales, and B.) guns all getting nerfed into the ground to "balance" these "slot changes" which are really just temporarily bringing back the Destiny 1 design everyone loved to get people to buy Forsaken. Also, are only the new Forsaken shotguns, snipers, fusion rifles etc. able to go into slots other than power slots (and is it just a couple Forsaken snipers, shotguns and fusions, or all of them in the expansion)? And are the older, pre-Forsaken weapons altering their slot limitations too? If it's just new weapons, it will likely be only a few, and they'll be much lamer than the ones currently in power slots. There are just so many things Bungie can and will do to keep everything gimped like they want it-- including continuing to choke off green ammo in the crucible so you can't use anything new anyway-- while conning the players into giving them more money for Forsaken. Quite frankly, Bungie could also start pulling the forced cash shop "content"/RNG crap they already pulled any time after Forsaken's cash collection stops, too. I don't trust them any further than I can throw them. So for a few weeks we get what we should have had all along, and then whammo! It all goes down the drain again....

3 RepliesThis used to aggravate me but on D1 we got 2 extra strikes plus whatever else dropped with TTK plus hawkmoon. Looks like we are getting 2-3 extra strikes along with whatever else drops w Forsaken. Also I will just add that all that BS about Sony Cares about the gamers only need to look at their Fortnite users and this exclusive crap like in Destiny.

29 RepliesExclusive content is actually bad for the community as a whole. Yes, Sony paid extra for it, but in reality it hurts them too. Exclusive content isn't just patched together, it's someones hard work and time cut off from a portion of the community. But due to this split, that content is kept away from things like Xur, Nightfall, and NF specific rewards. It's never an advantage to PS players, only a hindrance to everyone.

I played Ps4 in Destiny 1 so I never noticed anything. I found out hawkmoon was an exclusive and was glad I played on Ps4. The thing is, with Destiny 2 there is nothing Ps4 players get that compares to Hawkmoon so uh, I dont really care lol.

Finally, i'm glad the Warmind exclusives haven't taken as long to get to other platforms. I wish the exclusive period wasn't so long though, 2-3 months would be fine but a whole year for some of it is ridiculous..
