Don’t nerf. Buff everything up to it. Looks great!
Edit: This is the first time in a while people are grinding hard as heck for an exotic. It shows how EXOTICS should feel. Strong and powerful. The steady stream of nerfs has turned D1, a fast paced game with single outplay potential, to D2, a team pea shooter. Stop advocating for nerfs instead of buffs. This is what’s killing the game.
Edit 2: “It’s bugged, dummy.” No duh. That’s why it’s fun to use. It reminds many of the quick time to kills in D1. Hopefully the PvE community doesn’t see this gun go down the drain because of us whiny PvP kids.

For years the Bungie White Knight Defenders labeled anyone they could as "casuals" and "noobs" and "crutch" whenever we wanted weapons that kicked ass. It took a long time but now we all realize how much of shills Bungie White Knight Defenders are for doing a developer's dirty work. Bungie has slowly, with the help of these degenerate Bungie White Knight Defenders, made the game more grindy. Why?
Eververse
I like the ttk but it’s bugged because it kills you AFTER you either win the gun fight or get cover. That is not fun it’s cheating. As for PVE it should totally stay the same.
-
1 ReplyI can’t wait for trials and the whole team has them. Guess I’ll have to wait till next time to go for the ornaments...
-
CMON FFS! I payed for this shit expantion, and now i cant play PvP cuz its -blam!-ing broken. ! DO you even test your shit before u release it ! GIVE US THE PATCH ffs!
-
Whats the difference between this and cold heart? I rip players apart with cold heart in pvp all the time and have yet to die to the prometheus fire.
-
1 ReplyIf a PvP matches outcome is predetermined by how many players on each team have a particular gun, than that gun isn't good for the quality of PvP no matter how you put it.
-
Edited by Camisto: 12/7/2017 8:58:28 PM"Ooh i finally can get kills in crucible this gun is balanced don't nerf it but make other guns good cuz I finally can be good with something and I don't want to lose it!!!" EXCEPT, if they did make all other guns kill just as fast then your precious op weapon won't be op anymore, then you will be back to complain how broken pvp is cuz your super laser no longer carries you to the top score.
-
Players going to complain if they don't have that gun in trials.
-
Edited by CresterOts: 12/7/2017 8:12:17 PMIt's because of that fun reason they're going to nerf it........because Crucibleh......god damn it. . Then again.... The -blam!- do I care? Not going to play it again till Warmind drops.
-
The damage of the solar orb that it creates definitely needs to be toned down for PVP! But I swear if they nerf the damage and it effects PVE then there's no point!
-
Edited by Smokinya: 12/7/2017 6:18:04 PMThe fact that anyone wants this to stay is ridiculous. I have the gun, I've used the gun, and even though I have the gun its still incredibly unfun to play against someone else who also has the gun. People don't even have a chance to fight back. In my first game with the gun I wiped the whole enemy team in five seconds single-handedly. In another game I was being team fired by 4 people at once and killed three before I went down. This gun is simply unfun to play against. Even when you have one, and you're using it, its frustrating to play against. Frankly, it was fun to obliterate kids the first couple of games, but after that it just got boring. Its not fun to be using a weapon that is so powerful another player can't even react. I'm all for powerful exotics, but in PVE content only.
-
1 ReplyI have no doubt it's fun to use. But I doubt you would have the same opinion if you had to go up against a group of good enemy players using the gun. I've gone up against it a few times, it can quite easily kill in less than 0.5sec. When thinking of what's a good step in the right direction for PvP, or Exotics, it's only a question of "Is it FUN to use, but also a question of whether it's FUN for players around as well." Otherwise you'll have a game that no one will enjoy due to other people using broken things.
-
But it's just to powerful. It would give D1 guardians and weapons a run for their money.
-
No, it's not broken at all... /sarcasm

3 RepliesEdited by myvampyriclove: 12/7/2017 6:38:59 PMAll of the people who say the prometheus lens should stay the same are the people who have it already, bungie is going to nerf it and you cant do anything about it, case closed, why would they ruin crucible by letting that op weapon stay in the game >: /
-
2 RepliesBAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-- Wait... you think... this broken weapon killing stuff in less than a second is good... mechanics? BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-- Sorry, sorry... BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA--
-
Don't nerf it. Put it where it belongs in the heavy slot and leave it alone!
-
No. We don't need the game to become Destiny 2: Prometheus Lens. A game shouldn't have a 1-beats-all gun especially when it even kills people who have ran around corners and has no reload.
-
Don't nerf
-
dont worry itll stay the same until the next dlc when they need to add an overpowered gun to get people to buy it
-
totally feels like a weapon in d1.. yet somehow made it to d2. wish more weapons had the same feel, speed of the game ramped up etc.. as d2 is not d1.. something will change and you can bet it wont be that everythinng else gets a buff. that would require far to much work.
-
I like it where it is. Use a rifle that deals out heavy flinch. I've combated against it just fine like that. I laugh when I die from it as it is so quick if caught off guard. Haha
-
All these shitty PvP players giving their meaningless opinions on a glaringly broken weapon. You’ll all be back to getting obliterated soon enough, you can already bet they’re working on a fix.
-
So uh do people want it to get nerfed..or?
-
Lot of rubbish being spouted about the lens, it’s great in pve but I’ve found it lacking in pvp. It’s too difficult to track a target with ( unless you’ve a mouse!). I reckon it’s because you can see the beam whereas you can’t see normal rounds.
-
I’m stretching it a bit this time Delete Crucible
