Cayde 6 Treasures have empty chests.
So I get all five treasure maps and head out. Last week I opened all five chests and only 3 of them gave me something for Cayde. This week only two chests gave me the cube thing.....I completes all five but only had two turn ins and therefore no reward. This is two weeks running. Please fix. Next week I will record all openings as they happen.

12 RepliesNo they don't. It's just that you didn't get to them in time. The Fallen are on the hunt too. Once you get your maps, get to them all within an hour and they won't be empty... If you wait, some will have been picked clean by the time you reach them.

Grind to get tokens to level up a vendor to give you dupe items that drop below your light. Grind to find exotics that will become dupes that drop lower than your light level. Spend 5000 glimmer per treasure map for Cayde's stash and have every chest either be empty or useless items. Do strikes for equivelant rewards of public events, do lost sectors for 1 token. Kill special targets and world bosses to get 1 freakin token! Play the raid to get, you guessed it, TOKENS to get raid gear BELOW your light level! In classic Destiny fashion, the game has huge problems that Bungie won't admit, unless of course it's for nerfing a wepaon for PvP's sake. Bungie, you have to know you're doing something wrong when people stop being excited about legendary and exotic engrams, because we all know we're gonna get shafted by your crap RNG system.

3 RepliesDon't believe the loot cool down theories either. I gave them yet another shot after getting nothing last week. This time I was giving them a ton of time between chests. Even avoiding chests that only contain glimmer or chests from killing a major. Noting no loot for a good long period like ten minutes only to open an empty chest. This isn't bungie making sure people are not farming this is a broken game. It seems to be getting only worse week by week.

Having the same problem. Having what is supposed to be the best loot given out once per week and then the chests not even giving anything good or anything at all in some cases is completely ridiculous and a waste of our time.

Logged in yesterday, landed on Titan, and immediately went to one of the chests without touching anything else. The 1st chest was empty. I always stand practically inside chests as well until loot pops up, but this was just plain empty. The rest of them had loot tho. No inventory slots were full either. Nothing at post master.

First week I did then all back to back got 2 exotics and 1 legendary but last 2 I have gotten empty or worthless shit to turn into cayde

Apparantly there is a loot timer to prevent nonstop farming? So thats why you get some empty chests. Spread cayde chests out by like a minute and a half for each one. I could also be wrong but that's what i've heard.

2 Repliesits due to chest lock out timer, next time open then one after another with approximately 5 minutes between chest, you should get loot in all 5 of them.

24 RepliesIt's something to do with Lott cool down. Bungo added this awful feature we're you can only open so many chest before they start dropping nothing. It's one way to artificially extend the grind to max power level. Fecking this awful system.

I thought that too, but it was only a delay. When I opened a chest on Nessus, nothing came out initially. After a short while the rewards did show up. I don't know if it was lag or what.

Cayde gave me the best gift of all when i opened 3 of my chests, the satisfaction of Unlocking a chest to receive perfectly fine amounts of Golden age Oxygen. Ah i remember the scent now when it popped open. Not to mention the satisfaction of completion by making sure it no longer was on my map. Eat shit Cayde wasting my time with no drops and nothing to gain outta it but 500 glimmer when i brought your book back to you. Bungie please make it more rewarding.

I thought the same thing was happening to me...but then I realized that the engrams were popping out behind the chest. Not saying that this is happening for everyone, but it definitely happened to me.
