7000 hrs here...
Its a shitshow , built on addiction, chasing numbers, playing people like puppets.
Whatever people say, the game is easy to play, not very good other than great gunplay visuals + feel , n some decent music here and there. The only people who play the same tiny amount of story missions and strikes over and over, chasing numbers, are addicts. The same people play 4th rate PvP , horrific connections and meta"s in the same tiny amount of maps, chasing numbers, addicts.
The original idea was fantastic but the game, as expected felt way short. Bungie fell short, and in some aspects got worse, puppets themselves of the Activision machine.

You think? I've had about 15 ACC's to do different stuff I've almost maxed grimoire on 4 of them. 1 even broke time wasted on destiny after hitting the 200 deleted character max. Theres people on there with 14'000 hrs, LOTS of people, I wasn't even close

You should check out Policemam, last I checked she had 13'900hrs, she's Spanish n plays all day everyday.

She doesn't play. She loads up the Dark Beyond mission on the moon and leaves her console on all day.

A lot of the top ones are shared ACC's, they have to be. Wasted on destiny only tracks active time too. No tower time, no orbit time, just actual play time. I've bumped into her a lot in PvP. Always in a 3 man team, all Spanish. Not very good, but just plays lots

I'm married, 3 kids, 5 dogs. Lost my job after 21yrs , ended up disabled, not physically, but I'm pretty much at home 24/7. Mrs is a teacher, works long hours, kids at school n uni. So I breed dogs, gets lots of free time, only game I play is destiny, I also have aspergers, the social issue part, so this game feeds my addictive personality. I take care of the house stuff like cooking, ironing, other than that I'm good. Not ideal, but destiny dropped at just the right time for me. If I was my former self, ie working my arse of, I prob would still just play for a few hrs a day + be done.
