Are you seriously bringing back old weapons and armour?
So in the latest trailer we seen Starfire Protocol, Takeanaught and potentially a hawksaw and others.
This CANNOT happen. It's just can't, you cannot justify it at all.
If this is a decision that had been made. REVERSE IT NOW!

5 RepliesSo first people complain about not being able to bring weapons and armour over from D1. Now they're complaining because weapons and armour from D1 will be in D2? It always amuses me how people twist themselves into these logical knots on this forum just to justify dumping on a game they haven't even played yet. They find the pettiest shit to complain about, jump on it and blow it way out of proportion.

The "Hawksaw" could just be a suros pulse rifle model, with a green shader on it. The star fire protocol could just be a new exotic with a place holder model. And the taikonaught looking helm could just be a legendary.

However, the fact it does resemble it may be seen by some as a lack of creativity. And there will be some who will complain that D2 doesn't have a certain piece of armor or a weapon they prized in D1. That said, I hope they do bring back some of the classics or even improve upon them.

when playing a rpg that has swords is there not a (enter any kind of sword here), broad sword, claymore, wooden shield... what ever. you can only have so many variations of weapons, and those weapons basically have the same "frame". and I would feel cheated if I didn't see a mida multi tool or gali, those weapons have their own stories and need to be continued.

Nothing is coming with us (as in our guardians or inventory). But doesn't mean it can't be something we reacquire.

We saw gear that RESEMBLED some exotics. Even the streamers put the typical "confirmed?" In their clickbait titles as their standard disclaimer. So don't get your undergarments in a wad.

7 RepliesStarfire protocol I can understand, but the taikonaut you think you see is not the taikonaut. BESIDES the fact that it's on a WARLOCK, it doesn't have the slight orange markings that the original did, and it's slightly less bulbous. Also it appears to be a part of a whole astronaut set, so it's highly plausible they were inspired by the taikonaut to go ahead and make full sets based off of golden age space suits.

2 RepliesWho said the perks those items had were coming forth? Hawksaw could just be another pulse option? Star fire protocol has such a basic exotic perk does it even matter if it does? Homestly really think about what you're getting upset here. Not like everything was destroyed (armour and weapons) I don't doubt for a second guns like suros regime and sleeper simulant could also come forward.
