Are you seriously bringing back old weapons and armour?
So in the latest trailer we seen Starfire Protocol, Takeanaught and potentially a hawksaw and others.
This CANNOT happen. It's just can't, you cannot justify it at all.
If this is a decision that had been made. REVERSE IT NOW!

Just because none of the gear we collected comes with us, doesn't mean it won't appear somewhere else. Who said Suros had to stop making Hawksaw models?

Now are you SURE that was the starfire protocall and the taikonaut? After all, how unique is an astronaut helmet and a chest piece with that shape/pattern in a game that hasn't even come out yet?

Recycled content is going to be used A LOT and called "New Content" technically it is new content, maybe not for you but to new gamers it's all new and that is all that matters to Bungie, That is a fact no one can deny. It's funny how Bungie said Y1 exotics weren't coming back, but they used a couple carrots in ROI. They said Elemental wasn't coming back. Hmm, could of sworn they mentioned about it being in D2. Old gear as you found out :) This is way I didn't buy ROI. Why the hell would anyone want to keep regrinding and regrinding and regrinding and regrinding for the same things they have already have acquired for a 10 year plan? This is pure lazy development. You mean I should feel soo special that I have to regrind VoG weapons and gear 10 more time through out destiny life span? This is pathetic coming from a AAA gaming company that is supposed to be creating a unique game. There isn't nothing unique about this game anymore knowing they are over doing the recycle content, swapping supers between Guardians now, set perks, locked loadouts, and limiting what a Guardian was created for more and more and more as time moves on. This is becoming another Activision CoD pumped out game. Lets put little or no effort at all making this game and present it under false pretense. This is exactly what this company has become today. So guess what? When DeeJ said " you don't want to use the same weapons and gear for the next 10 years" That was a straight out LIE... [b]You will be regrinding for a lot of the same things you acquired in Y1 for the next 6 years if you stick out "the 10 year plan"[/b]

They didnt lie. Nothing comes with us. You can earn it as a reward though.

I'll still be enjoying D1. Hopefully it gets better in D2, but so far ; not that impressed.

People would only complain that some of them don't make a return so this seems pointless, was going to happen at some point! I can see it now in 6 months time people moaning that the Bones of Eao aren't in the game.

So because I can get a Hawksaw anywhere in D1, I can't get a Hawksaw once Ghaul attacks the city? They just all cease to exist? Besides, most of the "new" stuff just have the same models and stats, and different skins anyways.

I wouldn't mind a few exotics that didn't get too much attention in D1, like the Taikonaut.

People complain that they won't have their weapons. [i]complains[/i] A hint of things coming back. [i]People. Complain.[/i] Why though? It could be an opportunity. I would love to have my favorite gear back, like my helmet or my bond. You know... some stuff would be nice.

2 RepliesThe size of the d2 beta was a direct reflection of the size of d2. Pve was not the focus and they will do whatever cheap tactics they can come up with (I'm looking at you icebreaker bounty) to keep pve players busy grinding.

If they bring back ANYTHING, it should only be exotic weapons. And not even all of them. Certain weapons should have been lost in the towers destruction.

I'm fine with it, as long as they add em as a bonus for older fans and not just regular gear being recycled. Basically keep everything fresh, then add older community favorites as a bonus.

I absolutely agree that NOTHING should carry over, this is a new game and new experience. It's not suppose to be destiny 1 just completely re-skinned? This will ruin A LOT of aspects for me. Bungie can't be creative enough to come up with new exotics? That got to bring back old ones? This sounds like Hollywood remaking every movie that's ever come out, Be creative and come out with new stuff for once.
