What you said literally makes no sense at all. If Bungie was actively trying to make the game bad, why make a game at all? Smdh.

I would argue Bungie has not nor ever will understand their own game. I don't know if it's due to being stubborn or arrogant. They keep wanting to slow down what should be an extremely fast game. I feel like that is the crux of what most people are really complaining about. Give us more power, not less. Make the players legend, not mediocre. It's so obvious the players want one thing and Bungie wants another.

Huh? I'm not sure if i understand why you are asking me this. Are you sure you meant to reply to me on this post?

"This game isn't made for Destiny players, the people who kept the 3 year Beta afloat with their hopes of a better experience. Its made for people who didn't really play or didn't like Destiny 1. " 1. If it isn't made for Destiny players... who is it made for? 2. Why would bungie make a game for people that don't play, or didn't like D1? They might as well not make a game at all. That's my point. You are basically saying that Bungie is actively trying to make a terrible game. And that simply isn't true. They are trying to make a competitive game. Sure, not everyone is going to like it, but they don't have to play if they don't like it.

These people: The people that either played vanilla destiny and left right away (bungie is saying... comeback... we've changed! please give us your money!) The people that reviewed the game poorly... they are being catered to now. Re: Angry Joe The people that like more of an esports set up... people who played CoD, Counterstrike, maybe even some overwatch players..... basically people who like shooters and not people who like RPGs. Kids. Kids. Kids. They have dumbed everything down to a level that is more suitable for kids to play. The casual gamer. That's who.
-
Wrong. How does a game that is designed around competitiveness cater to casuals? I think your definitions of these words are a little biased. "dumbed" down is subjective. If you feel that way, sorry bout ya. But I think D2 is a huge step in the right direction. Now all the scubs that relied on their super to proc 3 times a match, and their tracking rockets, and their high aim assist snipers, and their shotgun rushing tactics will have to use a PRIMARY and actually have to out strafe their enemy to win.

Why do people like you always bring PvP into an argument? Nobody cares about PvP, it's the pvpers that has ruined this game with their constant whining and getting everything nerfed into oblivion.
-
If nobody cares about PvP, why do you guys argue that Bungie focuses more towards the PvP crowd? That would mean there's a hell of alot more people that care about PvP than PvE that Bungie is trying to cater to right?.... Anyway, I want both PvP and PvE equally designed great.
-
I meant in this thread, the pve side of this game has suffered because of PvP and it pisses me off. Happens in every single game where there is pve and PvP elements.
-
that's the point. They are trying to appeal to too many types of players.... and its failing because they refuse to separate the two different sides of the equation. They call this "an experiment" in the TWAB.... an experiment that will fail.

hahahahaha okay. Whatever you say you pessimistic child.

you know i'm not a child.
