After setting down my custom made Xbox One Elite controller I take a moment and decide what to do. I decide to enjoy this little break in the action by taking a little me time. First, I set back and put on some classical music. Bach should be fine; doesn't matter which song either, just something to add that necessary "ambience." Second, I decide to select a terrific wine. Rising from my seat I journey down to the cellar. I glance at each of the bottles collected over years, each one with a story, each kept from as much a sense of nostalgia as the enjoyment of each flavor and the story it carries with it. I continue to peruse, a few whites catch my eye, but nothing that I am in the mood for. There are also a few bottles of Champagne mixed in at the end. I never really enjoyed Chamagne, and I wonder why they are even down here taking up valuable space... Here we are! Reds, Merlot, a couple of Cabernets, some Pinot Noirs, etc... I admit I am a sucker for a good Red wine. My fingers find purchase on a vintage 1958, Enfer d'Arvier. It is medium bodied and has a flavor that I can only describe as "spunk." After pouring and swirling it around a few times I take note of its burgundy red color. I decide to give it a whiff and my nostrils are filled with a strong, but pleasant aroma of a grapes and tart cherries. I take a sip and notice that even though this wine is medium bodied, it has a full earthy taste. It is a little tart, but as the remaining liquid slides down the back of my tongue I once again taste the slight, sweet flavor of ripe cherries. Placing the glass down I notice the symphony is coming to an end. With a sigh, I pick up my controller, and go back to the fight. I know that in another couple of seconds this process will inevitably repeat. I smile at this thought, but then another creeps in... I guess one could call this sudden false euphoria, as absolute dread, and I sit in silence, my fingers now quivering with indecision. "What do I do?" If I am to both use this weapon my Guardian holds, furtively in his hands and enjoy the pauses that come with reloading... this horrible feeling of both betrayal and disgust has now enveloped me at this realization, "I will be out of wine by days end!" I now understand what and why this weapon was so titled "Zaouli's Bane"! By the time Zaouli himself had finished reloading he had forgotten why he was evening fighting in the first place! Zaouli probably simply let Oryx end him as he understood and came to the same conclusion as I! "What is life without a wonderful drink in one's hand, a fully loaded weapon in the other, and a purpose (other than drinking, lol) to give your life that necessary fire"!?!
