WHO PREORDERED?
I did, who else doesn't care and still has faith in this game and with Bungie?
Clarification: preorders can be cancelled, and I preordered through Xbox.

Pre ordered the collectors edition because why not? Have all the other collectors editions and if destiny 2 is crap i can cancel the preorder, and if it's good then I get an awesome sold out collectors edition.

I pre-ordered the gamestop limited edition and a standard edition at amazon I wanted the cayde figure at gamestop, so I put $5 down of my trade credit. I also preorder everything on Amazon just in case there is a price mistake and then I can get it for dirt cheap with their pricing policy. I can always cancel one or both with just a click of a button depending on what the next 6 months show me

I pre-ordered the Ghost Edition of the first game the day it was announced and little Dinklebot is still nestled on my Xbox to this day. That being said, I won't be putting any more of my hard earned money towards this franchise until I see some solid gameplay of Destiny 2; proof that Bungie has truly listened to us and has strived to provide a cohesive and complex story with the true to form gameplay that Bungie is notorious for. If the gameplay is both familiar and adequate, I will put $5 down to play it for myself when the Beta releases. I understand that people are frustrated that Bungie already has a solid dollar value on every edition of this game. I'm one of them. That being said, it really is as simple as going to GameStop to cancel a preorder if the Beta isn't satisfactory.

Yup I paid $5 and got my little Cayde. Worst case scenario I never buy Destiny 2, and just paid $5 for the figure, which is a pretty good deal imo.
