Would everyone that is going to "Quit playing" just do it already?
I am already tired of seeing the "I quit" threads. Just do it! Why do you feel the need to announce it? The funny part is, most of you saying it, are not really going to.

11 RepliesI played a few games last night, sure I got killed by a few more NLB/sidearm combos than usual, but I still went with Waltz/Perdition and Saladmans Vigil same as I have for last 3 months and it was almost no different. If anything I had more special cos it was always there ready to be collected. Much less shotguns. Have the apes given up too quickly? Or have shotguns genuinely been wrecked? [spoiler]last bit is a genuine question not bait for matador monsters[/spoiler]

Look at my play time the last few months as an example ... you might see me play one weekly heroic a week at most to get my treasure thing because I wanted that white camo for icebreaker... lol that's it... Destiny has been dead at points before but since I have played from the beta until now... it has never been so dead. It's just the wait for the second game now. Nothing can save this installments ending... it should have been done with a bang but it is going out with a slow painful death.

I've stopped playing many games and I've never once got on a forum and said, "That's it I'm done playing" blah blah blah. Venting is one thing, but lying cause you're pissed about a video game, come on man, I've been playing since year 1, seen ALL the nerfs, buffs, this and that. I just take it with a grain of salt, if the game becomes not enjoyable anymore then just stop playing and don't bitch about it, otherwise enjoy playing the game for what it is. I'm never surprised by anything bungie does, I'm prepared for anything. play it or don't.

4 RepliesA lot of people have quit, myself included. Yes they come back, maybe for a day or two, to check out new patches and stuff but after that short period... gone again. Destiny is losing population, no one can deny that, a lot of people are quitting. Instead of getting angry with the people who are quitting maybe you should get angry with the devs that have continuously messed up the game for the last 2 1/2 years.

2 RepliesI think they have already. Played some Strikes and Crucible the other day. No matchmaking for two strikes in a row. Constantly see the same names of people in Crucible. It feels like only 10 people play Destiny now. Sad😢

Look I don't view destiny dying as bad at all. We knew this would happen. Destiny 2 is coming this fall. To hell with destiny and just leave at this point.

After roughly 87 days of playtime since the beginning I think I'm actually going to hang it up for awhile. It's not necessarily this patch, it's just that there really isn't much to do. They can change weapons and ammo in the crucible and that really doesn't matter to me. It will always be a laggy mess and that's the real issue.

I have over 3000 hours on destiny and loved the game. I have the best weapons with great rolls, Multiple tier 12 builds for each character. I gradually got sick of the bullshit and played less and less, I haven't played at all in a couple of months. I was genuinely looking forward to this patch, hoping that bungie would get their shit together. I should have known better. I'm definitely not coming back for this garbage. I have a huge friends list that feel the same way. Destiny is dead and bungies incompetence is the cause of it.

I did. Never announced it, tho. I just didn't log into the game one day and that was that. I'm still keeping tabs on y'all to maybe notice a reason for returning. None has come up so far, I'm sad to say...
