There is no difference in pvp players using meta weapons and pve players using hand cannons w firefly and gally. There are only a few things useful right now.
The real problem is game developers not allowing different paths to success. In pvp or pve.

Agreed, I understand that Destiny 2 is coming soon but this games pvp, and pve has been a garbage dump lately.

Agreed. If I want to pve I play borderlands 2. Way older than destiny but they get it right.

And this may sound crazy but even with the amount of campers and lag in Titan Fall 2's pvp I still enjoy it more simply because different classes (Titans and pilots) as well as weapons can be used to succeed in the game. So I can use load outs I actually enjoy playing with and still win matches. That's where destiny failed in RoI, they preached uniqueness among guardians, and not wanting to see guardians with all the same gear... but rather the pvp community is more uniform than it has been in the past, imo. All of this is opinion based but it's also an opinion I have seen among half the community. Maybe more.
