Do you really want the kind of people you get stuck with during strikes to do something like the nightfall... There will be people who go afk for the rewards and because its matchmaking, you cant kick em. There will be people who want to get it done in the time limit for the sunrise bounty, good luck with a match made team... People will join nightfalls in progress, so theyll be piggybacking on your work. Lower light level players would join matchmaking, forcing higher level teams to carry, or throwing them into a group of players who are going to get rolled over. The idea of having a fireteam for nightfall is to be a prginized group who knows what theyre doing, they know what each other is going for and they know if they cant complete it their team mates will find someone who can. If you dont have friends for the nightfall, lfg is always an option. Its not as if "i dont have friends, therefore there is no chance for me to do the nightfall" there is always a group of people willing to help. There is plenty of matchmaking in the game, i think game modes that require a team makes things more orginized. Also, thorn was nerfed because the community complained avout a 2 tapping hand cannon with dot...

Couldn't agree more, on the vault space, and lack of match making, on nightfalls. Vault space being my number one complaint. This game is centered around collecting, and we are not being allowed to do so. Sure, we can delete "unnecessary items", from our vault, but the point is...we've spent A LOT of time collecting these items...why be forced to delete them? I don't get it. This should be a no brainer, for Bungie, and a simple fix, compared to the other things, that we are asking for. For me, it's gotten to the point that I'm spending as much time, juggling my vault, as I am, playing the game. Sure, I come back, from time to time, as I like the game..but get soured quickly, when I have to spend over 15 minutes, juggling my vault, after a few strikes. It's frustrating, to say the least. Please fix this ASAP, Bungie. Thank you.

Vault space and matchmaking can be resolved by the players themselves. You may not like it but I'm sure it keeps any changes to those things low on the priority list for Bungie. It's not like something that is broken with no alternatives or workarounds.

Agreed there is no arguable point to not add optional match making to the nightfall we all want more content that one simple improvement would give everyone anouther awesome weekly endgame activity
