Does anyone have a full gear non-raid set at Tier 12 with the perks you want or is that a Myth?

Curious if anyone has been able to put together a complete gear set (faction, IB, Forge, etc that isn't raid gear which can be re-rolled) at Tier 12 and with the reload, ammo, armor perks you want. It seems to me that it is almost impossible with most gear in my inventory not even Tier 12 quality. I can put together one set across 3 characters and it's the most random collection of gear that I would never wear.

28 RepliesA myth would be tear 12 raid gear. I have not seen one person even brag about it. Raid ghost and class items roles are ass.

I usually run 5\5\4 if I run this setup. Most of the time I run 5\5\0. I don't melee a whole lot. Only in "oh sh!t" moments. LOL

2 RepliesI do. My pvp sunsinger is t12 and has all the perks k want. Fusion rifle ammo boots, special chest. I'm just missing boots on my titan but that'll be done in time. Haven't touched the hunter for t12 yet cause I'm way too picky (it's my main character).

4 RepliesPeople talk about tier 12 as if it's some ridiculous, time consuming and utterly pointless grind. I'm sure it seems that way if you only consider it as someone starting from scratch with only stats in mind for a goal, but it isn't like that for me. In fact, I have multiple avenues to t12 on my gear with all three armor types, most reloads and ammo perks. It really is as simple as checking your new gear in almost any current item manager against your old, seeing which one is "better", and dumping (or infusing) the other. Occasionally, looking up vendor rolls when they update (which as we all know, is not often). Not grindy at all. I mean, you're getting the loot anyway. Why not just peep at an app before you toss it? That being said, and more to the point of the post, no, my gear most definitely is not from the same set. It's an... eclectic mix, to say the least. Doesn't seem impossible, but [i]that[/i] could prove to be incredibly grindy and in my opinion, the aesthetics of looking great with a full set just doesn't outweigh how long it would take.

2 RepliesI used to. Everything was god rolled, then RoI dropped and they -blam!-ed up all the Int/Disc/Str stats on my gear. Yay.

I didn't get tier 12 int/dis helmet with the right perks until I bought them last IB on any of my character. This is since ttk. So forget about gear sets, I can't even get a set of anything. Only tier 12 build I have is on my hunter and that's with the wrong perks on gloves and chest.

Tier 12 on every class on every character and all the perks I want, with the amount of drops you get now it really isn't a problem. Just store everything in your vault then use ishtar commander app and check if its gold tier or not.

Ever since the split up the bonuses into specific weapon types instead of just primary, secondary and heavy plus the focus for the different subclasses I have not been able to get a good set.

I've managed to get two tier 12 sets for my Warlock and Hunter, but they're not with my favorable rolls ;-; I've been ranking up FWC for the Spektar gear and it's really difficult getting a high enough stat roll that has good perks. The struggle is so real.

1 ReplyIts very easy with the days of iron set. Just keep popping crates till you get the stats you want. Look it up on youtube.

A lot of IB, a little Trials, some Challenge of the Elders Armor, a few KF & WoTM pieces for Raid specific loadouts, a few Crucible vendor items. Y2 Trials & KF artifacts had very high stats with Int/dis combinations well above 100% e.g my Titan ToO artifact has 117% of max, allowing other slots to have gear below 100% My Titan and Hunter are currently set up for IB as 5-5-2 and 5-4-3 respectively. The perks are all relevant to the weapons loadout With the Y3 Iron Banner vendor armor selling at 100% or 99% of maximum stats, I could have a Tier 12 Y3 Iron Banner set on each character with a little tweaking, but I'd rather stick to my saved loadouts each centred around a specific Exotic
