Imago Loop
i have killed the undying mind 365 times (not including the 1000 times i farmed him) and not one imago loop with outlaw/firefly. BRING BACK THE FATEBRINGER! Even as an Exotic....

Dude Echo Chamber heroic difficulty. The Strike chest spawns at the end so all you need is a skeleton key. 75% chance of drop.

It's the only gun I'm like, dying for. HCs in Crucible are complete preference nowadays. It's whatever people feel handles best. & for me, Loop has always been the best feeling... & the only even half decent one I've gotten just has Icarus+rifled but it's so crispy. I'd die for a rangefinder+luck. Literally do anything ; or rangefinder Icarus...grenadier. But it's actually hopeless because there's no way I'm grinding strikes for skeleton keys. I'd be willing to farm for it, but not grind keys. It's miserable & far too inconsistent.

1 ReplyI farmed that strike with all my keys. Gave up trying for that roll. However I have Angel Advocate scout and FWC Wail handcannon with Outlaw and Firefly. I settled well with that. Hope you get at least something close if not better.

Pretty sure it has a higher imago drop rate. Undying mind has 2 titan marks and an imago loop, iirc echo chamber just has warlock arms and imago

3 RepliesBack in the day, when it was the nightfall with solar burn. I farmed it all week. I got about 40 imago loops. It took about 20 to get a decent one. 30 to get a great roll. It was worth the grind. That one gun is a big part of the reason I still play so much. "Ace of spades" for the hunter class is a great gun if you just can't get a good drop. It's got firefly, and an exotic perk that reloads your mag as you get crit kills

6 RepliesIm sorry man. Did you get one with at least firefly or owtlaw? Also you could try to get those rolls on the FWC hand cannon (I think new monarchy can drop one too). So dont just farm the undying mind strike over and over again, just try the factions. It took me a while but I got the firefly/owtlaw role on imago loop. Good luck :)

2 RepliesIve grinded the echo chamber and undying mind close to a combined 500 times, still no fb roll. Although not so much since RoI, i gave up on it when they came out with these damned keys, otherwise i'd still be grinding.

I got a perfect roll without Firefly. OUTLAW, LITC, Steadyhand or Sureshot, and RIFLED barrel. It's a great gun. My son got a complete shit roll. His is better though during Aksis fight because he has explosive rounds. It's the only decent perk on his. He one shots those shanks across the map! Even though mine has a ton more Range. I need the shanks to be so much closer. So, sometimes the roll means nothing.

I wish it was still farmable. Loop is the one HC that I'd sit in pve for hours to get...but with the way skeleton keys work, it seems pointless to do. There are too many perk options. It's not worth it , the chance of getting a pvp roll is so slim...the hours of strikes just doesn't make it worth it anymore.
