I didn't get Thorn for a good six months in Y1. I got the new quest in the second week.

I got Y1 Thorn in the first week of Destiny. I got Y3 Thorn after doing 42 Shiro Bounties which is roughly close to 4 weeks

7th bounty got me that quest lol

Not even the same grind. You don't lose progress this time around for doing poorly. Plus, everyone and their mother has easy access to y1 void primaries due to how easy the raids are now. I got so sick of raiding in y1 that I did the quest with Praedyth's Revenge.

Super good advice. Thats right. Thanks. And no, they arent wrong. The thorn grind is still easier, for you were only presented three options for five guns. Meaning even after you did the grind, there was still a 40% chance you wouldn't get the quest you wanted. Took forever for me to get pocket infinity. Also, year 1 thorn quest was much more of a hassle than this years quest.

Trust me guardian. Year 3 thorn quest is MUCH easier to get than the old quest

That's true. I was just saying that year 3 thorn isn't as bad of a grind.
