If spooky trials "takes no skill" or is "too easy" THEN WHY ARE YOU COMPLAINING! If it's so easy go flawless 547384783 times then. I personally love this new form of trials, and I know I'm not alone on this. It takes communication and strategy, something a competitive skill based game mode should take. The problem is that people hate change. Anything bungie does gets sh** on by people because they changed something. Trials was changed as a Halloween event, giving bungie the chance to try something new without risking anything. But looks like people are still upset

13 RepliesWhat I find funny is I haven't seen one GOOD person at this game say they like no radar and no revives. It's always sub-1.0 K/D or just no skill in trials at all.
-
3 RepliesNo radar with no footstep sounds is stupid. How is it competitive if I can't at least hear that there's someone near me? Constantly having to do full circles just so that you don't get blindsided because everyone has slippers on isn't fun.
-
1 ReplyIt's tougher if you're used to the normal mechanics of Destiny PvP, but you can adapt. No revives make every life that much more important, every kill feel like it matters a bit more, and every death burn worse. The no radar made corner campers a bit more rampant. I'm not an elite Trials player at all, but my heart pounded harder during both weeks of spooky trials.

Because hide n seek is too op in trials rn
-
YES IT DOES

It's all about agressive play I came back last week after not playing since ttk on cauldron we lost if we stayed back in the back rooms because the weapons were all medium range you were just left vulnerable and you didn't need shotguns to run trains all it took was grasps or palindromes and people would -blam!- you up face to face. If you hit them in the middle rooms and outside with no hesitation it's easier then regular trials. I played with my clan and we won like nothing hitting the middle room, but I played with some people off the forums and they liked to stay back and find sniper lanes, we didn't even get passed a few wins. Even someone in our clan hasn't been on this two weeks because he refuses to use anything but his sniper and scouts or another long range primary.

First time flawless - EVER; last night. Used fusion rifles and pranced right through it like we were streamers. Didn't even use Mercy. Didn't play last week, but wish I had. I definitely prefer this iteration of trials. Although, I was kinda bummed that I didn't get the cutscene at the LH and the chest was already open and dudes dancing in it. It took away from some of the magic, but still a great feeling!

You must love shotguns if you can honestly say that this isn't ridiculous

Well first of this weeks map doesnt work without radar. Cauldron atleast had doors so you could hear if a door opened but in this map you can run trough the whole map without making a single sound. And without radar a noob with 0.50 kd can just camp in a corner and shit on a player who has a 2.00 kd. The skill gap is really low on this weeks trials witch is pretty frustrating.

14 RepliesEdited by TURBO GAMER: 11/5/2016 1:12:56 AMYou know what? Been flawless plenty of times and love regular Trials, but I really like this Trials too. So what if I've been messing up cards that I usually would go flawless on without problem? If I can't watch my own back without relying on the radar, that's entirely on me and that means I still have plenty of ways to go to improve and be a better player. EDIT: And yeah, I messed up 3 or 4 Trials cards last week with my usual flawless team. I'm not even mad, I actually think the new mode is quite thrilling and encourages map awareness and callouts to a whole new degree.

11 RepliesEdited by Talk2MeToner: 11/6/2016 5:18:39 PMYeah seriously don't get why people say it takes no skill and caters to noobs... If it did you would have gone flawless instead of complaining cuz you lost to those "no skill" players

4 RepliesIf they give us GOOD audio cues like call of duty has then yes no radar would be a good idea, but until that it shouldn't even be a thing. I love the no revive thing though, I think that should be permanent and I think a lot of people would agree.

Edited by funkyzeit1809: 11/5/2016 2:51:08 AMBounty revive your teammates was what we needed in this game mode lmao totally made my day today

1 ReplyNot on Anomaly, cauldron was fine

I literally just saw someone use a primary weapon. I am not lying. I recorded it and everything. It was really weird. I think it was accident because he quickly pulled out his shotgun and continued playing like a true badass!
-
I just dislike the damn spider that pops up lmao
-
1 ReplyLet them whinge, I love it and went flawless for the first time since y2 tonight 😊
-
Idk trials is the same super no life sweatfest. It was fun though, really a nice change, I'm just glade when I look at the enemy team i see nothing but matadors with god roles, ya I know but I'm so used to seeing all snipers it's creepy.

Im pretty sure all trials sucks, but that is the PVE player Speaking for a PVE game with a pvp horse and pony show on the side.

9 RepliesPeople are literally so mad that for once they have to check corners and actually watch their backs. Thus doesn't trials shit or luck based. Literally dozens of other FPS game have minimal radar. Destiny's radar is just really prominent that people get used to relying on it. So they don't know hoe to play with out it. If you're having trouble winning now than chances are you probably had these same problems before. Personally I've had the exact same results for this and normal trials.
-
1 ReplyI like this trials but I feel cauldron was better then anamoly.
-
7 RepliesYou say that as if normal Trials takes no skill though. It's not like one takes more skill than the other. More like one takes a different type of skill. Some people like it, some people don't. Neither should be faulted but I prefer original Trials.
-
4 RepliesIt would make sense to meet half way and only expose radar location when a shot is fired or a player runs hard, just like my old COD days
-
Edited by RichGhost77: 11/5/2016 3:54:25 PMAll I know is it's more fun, and since its a video game, more fun = better
-
I think the radar should return and no revives should stay.
-
Keep the Radar, loose the Revives, and disable Ghost Cameras.
