Also this happened to me as well about 4 weeks ago, now I have to get the internet company to come to my house and fix things up, maybe getting a new modem
-
Phones aren't magically connected to the -blam!-ing wifi...
-
If you continue to read you'll see I stopped asking after they said their phone, I was satisfied with their answer and didn't pursue it further. Sorry you got hit like that, hopefully your internet provider can hook you up with a modem.

Edited by deltron1207: 11/1/2016 2:23:31 PMIt was a pain man, great internet for 2 years and then boom my friend gets kicked out, these guys start waving at us and dancing then we killed them then one more person go kicked and my internet went to hell, couldn't connect. My KD during matches went from 2.0~ to .20~1.0 you can compare my matches October to previous matches. My phone can't connect to the wifi, my roommate can't connect to the outer wifi. It's been messy lol. But oh well at least I can still do pve shit for a little bit before it start scrapping out again. Hopefully tomorrow we'll square that out Too many typos lol

Not really. I jumped on due me not playing now due to the walking dead being on
-
I'm trying to figure out a timeline that's all.
-
I came on here about 10-15 minutes after it happened and was kinda wondering if this had been happening to anyone else
-
Did you post from computer? Laptop?
-
-blam!-ing nosey much
-
Nah if he was indeed ddos'd he wouldn't have had internet connection for a while, but he posted from his phone so yea.
-
M8 what even is ddosd i thought it was when your adress is leaked lmao
-
Ddos is when they send hundreds of thousands of packets (or more) to you and it crashes your internet for potentially hours (days if they are malicious enough) DOS is when they get your information I think (not 100%)
-
Edited by PizzaMan725: 11/1/2016 1:40:53 PMDdos and dos are the same thing. Ddos is when a "zombie" army(infected computers) are used to attack a single point. Dos is when one attacker is hitting one point. Getting information on a target is not the same thing.

Thanks for the clarification :)
