Its your money, do with it as you will.
The only real argument people have against it is that it proves to Bungie/Activision that their money making system works. Last year I believe we got more than one Festival treasure. Like last year we got 3 Silver treasure things a week. Now we get only one, like a drug dealer handing out freebies to hook people.
But whats the point of arguing against that? The people with money to burn know that they can afford it no matter what, so what do they care about those that don't?
I know people who spent £/$50+ on Silver before Rise of Iron even came out. You think they give a shit behind their shiny ornament laden armour? All of the nopes.

So far from what i have read its the same as last year... 1 legendary drop per character and then grinding for rare masks and candies.
-
Btw as for radiant tresures yeah they screw it, at least we should get 2 per week.
-
In total I've probably spent $200 on silver. . . what am I doing with my life. *goes home and spends another $50 on silver to get all that sweet Halloween loot*

Bahahaha I thought this was just one of those sleazy commercials from my area. Do you also have the Goldberg commercials lmao
🎶800-600-6014🎶
We only got 1 last year
-
Really? I'm sure we got more than that. Like one free and one for a quest or something? Maybe one per character. I'm old, memory failing.
-
We only got 1 real FotL box, the rest were mask bags

Yeah, they'll just keep pushing the envelope. an envelope that'll never break. we can have microtransactions implemented in a way that's fair for all parties but that doesn't make nearly as much cash...
-
Fair for all parties? Ok, how about purchased items are purely cosmetic... Oh wait...
-
Cosmetics are a Huge part of destiny. we have an entire page of our character screen for cosmetics. People have grinded hours upon hours just to get a certain emblem or ship even though they do nothing gameplay-wise. if cosmetics didn't matter nobody would buy them... some people don't care about looks (more power to em) but a lot of people do care what their character looks like, sometimes even more so than combat. It's not fair to them considering they bought the same game (and dlc) we did.

Edited by Timmie: 10/25/2016 6:15:51 PMThis just in! Designer brand clothes are now going to be sold for the same price as budget clothing! And to those that care "more than combat", cool, go play with paper dolls or Instagram.

Meh, you get the point. it makes more money and people keep buying it so they can keep making increasingly worse Microtransactions.
