This is a post from a reddit user. Hope it helps some of you. 1) Your node. This is 5 symbols. Pretty simple stuff. Example, Square Circle Diamond Triangle Square, or, SCDTS. 2) Your "information forwarding protocol". This is how you find the "next in line" (who to forward your information to, get it!?). There are two options. An image with the symbols and clockwise arrows or counter clockwise arrows in one of 5 locations (the image always has the symbols the same), or 12345 -> reordered numbers. If you imagine this as a "filter" you apply to your node it's simple. Let's use my previous example node, SCDTS. Let's say the image is counter-clockwise arrows in the 2nd position. This means the Circle in the second position changes to a square. So the "next in line" is SSDTS. 3) Processing key. This is kind of a confusing part because I'm not 100% on how this type of crypto works, but from my understanding we will combine all 8 of these to form a full "key" used to decrypt each wall of text correctly. I might not be 100% correct here, but that won't become apparent until we have all the data. 4) Processing Initialization Vector. This is important for your wall of text only, but you'll need it for each wall of text among the 8 of you who link up. So, you find a "chain" of people who link up. There's no saying you ONLY need 8, you might need as many as 15 to ensure you get a "complete" chain of 8 (because let's say you get 8 people together, the first seven might be the final 7 of the previous chain, with the last guy being the start of a new one, so then you'd need 7 more to finish the chain.) The way you link up is by finding the person who's original Node matches the node you'd get after applying your forwarding protocol to yours. As I said, I'm pretty sure the concept here is figured out. The issue is we require a huge blob of data and, afaik, nothing's set up right now.

  • I understand where you are going with this one but looking at the data that people have already collected mine is just a loop between two codes. I went and found someone who's initial code was the mutated version of mine and then followed their mutated code right back to myself.

  • You lost me at "example" Please someone tell me im not the only one who has absolutely no idea what is going on right now.

  • Your node is 5 shapes. Those 5 shapes are an arrangement of a diamond, square, triangle, and circle. There is an Original code posted that shows 12345 -> 53421 or another arrangement. You assign your shapes to the numbers on the left, then you translate to the numbers on the right. So basically, if you're given a node as such: CDSDC and where given an original such as: 12345 -> 52314 Your permutation would be: CDSCD

  • ok i got ->12345 ->54321 sdddc so my permutation is cddds? and now that i know that, what do i do with it? lol im sorry dude, but im in wayyyyyy over my head with this kind of stuff. i just want to shoot things and do space magic, bungie pls.

  • How do we link with correspondents? My node is CCDDD and my protocol is 12345 > 54321, thus I'm looking for an IP with a node marked as DDDCC, right? So how would I link with the owner of this IP? In other words, how do I forward to them? I have yet to expand my knowledge in Information Tech so I apologize if I'm not making sense.

I'm not entirely certain how to match codes. I have yet to find an original with my permutation. I believe that once you find someone with an original that is your mutation you add their key to your key You then would read their mutation and find someone that has a match. It's possible that you can reverse search nodes to find the start of a strand. But I'm not certain.

  • It's alot of data but check here to find the original which is your permutation. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1B8KmXWy0_bTpw_52m5r7-yYJxwfTJS1oyqDn5gKn6rk/htmlview?usp=sharing&sle=true
