Anyone who voted SAO doesn't know what they're talking about, or it's the only anime they've ever seen. I'm not bandwagon-hating, I actually enjoyed the series start to finish, but there is an obvious degradation as the show goes on, and while the first season is the best in the series, it is still nowhere near "best anime" material.
