Items Disappearing?

Tried moving 3 of coins from one characters inventory to another and the item didn't show up. When I went to select it again I got an error message saying the item I was selecting wasn't in inventory and I lost all of the coins. :/

Were you flying into an area when making the transfer? If so that's why you lost them.
