Not my own idea but I totally agree.
Doing a complete buff would make it really exotic.
Edit: Keep the bumps going guys

1 ReplyThat eliminates the purpose of the legendary class items that buff crucible and vanguard rep. They should just increase the rep bonus from the faction exotics
-
6 RepliesNah, i reckon just 2 is fine. Slight buff. Maybe faction and a choice of others
-
1 ReplyEdited by Pahvi: 8/19/2016 7:13:30 PMYes, doing my 3rd faction item atm. +10% to all reps = would be worth it Or a bigger faction rep bonus. Now i believe it's +5% ? Bc grinded to lvl 25 + 10 heroic strikes, + enemies slain, blah 10 wins in the crucible + enemies slain, i'm almost fine with that, except the winning part, bc it's not one mans show.

1 ReplyI don't know about the buff for everything on faction cloaks, but I think that Exotic Class Items should allow you to switch the ability from either a Crucible boost or a Vanguard one as you play your favorite activities, kind of like the Boolean Gemini Exotic perks. They are Exotic after all. Though Faction Class Items should have a passive XP boost to your factions, something you don't have to switch imbetween. Much like some of the Exotic perks on some pieces of Exotic gear. So pretty much a do it all, but in a more focused way. But if they do that, then we need more Class Items that are Exotic. So Vanguard, Crucible, SRL. . . and on and on. BUMP

2 RepliesPlease no. It will make other class items useless. No one wants everyone wearing the same thing.

1 ReplyPersonally, it's kind of disappointing that you don't get as much special things if you are with the vanguard or crucible. They should both be considered factions. They both have their own agendas. The crucible is more of "to combat the darkness we must first learn to combat ourself" and the vanguard is "to push back the darkness strategically and tactfully" ( note these aren't actual lore based facts but rather observed data. ) I'm just saying it would be nice to have an exotic mark if you pledged to the vanguard or crucible.

3 RepliesIn Rise of Iron, they should have new exotic class items for the factions, unlocked at rank 50. I know im not the only one with multiple factions higher than 50.
-
all i know is while im at the cosmodrome running patrols, without the exotic class item the exp is either 20 or 25 for VIP patrol...with the class item on its 22 or 27 for VIP....basically your wasting a class item slot for a cool animation

4 RepliesI disagree. That would mean that there is no incentive for using any other class item. What they should do is double the faction bonus so that it is equal to the bonus from vanguard/crucible.
-
2 RepliesNo no no no no, it would remove all reason to use any other class item. If they did implement this I would expect them to make it count as the only exotic you could equip
-
2 RepliesThat'd essentially make it so we'd have to use them to get max benefits out of activities. I like to keep my options open.
-
It would also be nice to be able to wear whichever one I want regardless of faction. Or have it be like the old system where just the exotics change your faction.
-
1 ReplyGenius? Pretty damn genius...
-
2 RepliesNo idea why this wasn't in effect to begin with
-
I'd like to maybe see a new exotic class item at rank 50 for each of the 3 factions. Maybe Vanguard and Crucible exotic weapons at rank 30?
-
1 ReplyBump shoulda been like that from the start
