After months of trying to get to lighthouse, realised that I needed a carry and got first lighthouse trip last weekend. With it came the Bastets Dream emblem. Have had the emblem on since then.
In a match of salvage (yesterdays daily), and got a spanking from a well drilled team. The rest of us were soloing it. I hold my hands up - I had a nightmare.
Post match got a message from an opponent saying "you must of got a carry. remove that emblem'. I didn't respond as I'd more than likely get myself banned. Are destiny players really that salty that they have to send messages like this, even when they win?
I used to draw hate using uni remote, now I can't even wear trials emblems without getting hate mail!

1 ReplyEven the 3rd string quarterback get a Super Bowl ring for winning the game even though he may never played a down all season. Who cares! It's a video game. I've gone 6-0 on our 9th win and I've gone 1-6 in our first match. Everyone has good days and bad. All you can do is try to learn from your mistakes and get better. At the end of the day NO ONE HERE will be remembered as the king of the Crucible when they pass on or quit playing. Wear your emblem if you want to. Ignore the toxic Internet warriors. Have Fun! And remember..... It's only a game!

Did you have friends carry you? If that's the case you did earn it to a degree by not being an absolute bad team mate. Stream carries I have no respect for though
-
1 ReplyYou should keep wearing that emblem, just to spite elitist assholes like that guy.
-
It's no different than someone who is mediocre at PvP getting lucky on their matches. Who cares? You got there somehow. Enjoy that emblem. P.S. 90% of year 1 Flawless emblems were gained without skill matching. Is their emblem usage also revoked?
-
3 RepliesI don't see what the problem is... You got rekt, and he called you out for getting carried lol Annnd this happened Because you did actually get carried.... You obviously don't have to remove the emblem, he just wanted you know that you shouldn't feel like you deserve to wear it, which you don't... Idk why he took the time to message you, I also don't know why this bothered you enough to make a post out of it....
ugly god booty from a distance
I have both of the flawless trials emblems. I got carried the first time I went, but I got tons of experience from doing so. I'm an average to above average player player in crucible I think, but we all have our bad matches. I never wear the trials emblems just to keep myself away from people like that. Don't let people like this ruin your experience in destiny.

1 ReplyMy head is hurting. A emblem that is easy to obtain and people are acting like it the hardest thing to get and you must earn it 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂.
-
20 RepliesEdited by What I Look Like: 8/11/2016 2:30:35 PMLiterally just saw some dripping idiot compare the Trials RNG emblem to an Olympic medal. "Would you walk around with an Olympic medal you didn't earn?" How anyone thinks they can equate ANY SINGLE ANYTHING from any video game (much less a simple emblem from this game's broken PvP) to an Olympic medal is beyond me. No, wear your emblem bud. Fck anyone who has an opinion. It's a damned beetle, who cares enough to actually message you like that? Pathetic.

some of destiny players are always rude to other players who have something that they want and can't get it for mounts or not enough good to get it .
-
Man do what the hell you want it's your gaming experience so -blam!- those guys do what you gotta do big homie
-
I woudnt worry about it. No one over the age of 15 would even send that message so the point is instantly invalid. Wear whatever emblem you want man.
-
If that bothers someone they need to get a -blam!-ing life. People need to stop taking pvp seriously.
-
Yeah take it off you don't deserve it
-
I got carried for the same emblem. I don't wear it for that reason. You admit you didn't earn it, so why wear it?
-
You will not get banned by just one person. I say you earned it, so wear it. Don't worry about it...ppl get but hurt over dumb things. If the community has a problem with it, then stop carrying people.
-
My advice to you is just tell that person you feel sorry for them and then block them. Only a child or a sad excuse for an adult would place any kind of real life significance on an emblem in a video game.
-
It's only like people getting carried through PvE content like raids and NF's. It's an emblem, end of.
-
2 RepliesSounds salty that he cant get it. Wear it with pride
-
Such shame this community is full such elitist dicks! Carried or not man it's your game and your character you do whatever the -blam!- you like!
-
People that send hate mail after they win are the worst kind of haters. If you have to wait until you win the match to send a message, it's cause you are unsure of yourself.
-
23 RepliesRemember this: They can message you every second of every day, but they cannot take, move, or alter anything about you or your character. I'd send them "Make me"
-
Wear it. Who cares. Its a emblem that looks neat. People think a digital item that dignifies and brings purpose to their life has problems.
-
Is it greyed out in your inventory? No? Then equip it and wear it if it makes you happy. Hate mail says more about the idiot sending it than the person on the receiving end. Usually that they are a bit of a saddo.
-
It's a game. Wear what you want. Use what you want. Salty sweat puddles will cry and complain about anything. You paid for Destiny, play it the way you want to. I've never completed a raid, I have not been to the lighthouse. I pretty much play either solo or with one friend. No one else I know plays destiny. The few times I have tried LFG it's a pain and I don't qualify. The elite attitude of some of the players here is sad. It's like getting salty over go-fish. Lol
-
Wear the Bastet's Dream emblem if you want to. You need to get to the lighthouse to receive it, which you did. There's no requirement to have a 2+ kd or 2000+ ELO score as well.
-
Why are you letting a hater bother you ... On destiny... Just message him back n call him weak
