How did you get your 1st year 1 thorn?
Did you get it from the legacy engram or through the quest bounty.
If you did get it through the quest bounty what weapons did you use for the crusible bit and the strike mission.
For me I believe that I used epitaph and athions epilogue.
For the strike l ran sunsinger and use icebreaker forgot the other weapons.
Edit: seems like not too many guardians go a hold of a decent void sniper. Cause it was pretty simple for me, because most of my kill I just stood in the back sniping.
Edit: what do you think is the tougher bounty the chaperone or the thorn bounty?

Bounty. Used Future War Cult fusion rifle "The Calming" not the best perks but Damn I had fun. Still have the weapon. I pulls it out when the time is right. Lol

got it with bounty only used swordbreaker as I didn't get to raid much at all so i didn't have aetheons or word of crota. took a while lol

I got it before I even had access to aetheons epilogue.

Through the quest bounty. People thought it was so hard but it was really easy for me. I just used a void special weapon and void heavy.

Gunslinger using word of crota and felwinters. Took forever for me to even get the bounty and even then it was on my hunter lol

1 ReplyIt was my first exotic so I really had to fight for it. I don't remember its name but I had a green void shotty with full auto and i camped around corners crouching. plus some void rocket launcher for the heavys. The strike was brutal i was underleveled at the time and had to snipe from behind cover or die. Can't remember what snipe it was it was a blue for sure though and that shit took forever. Was very satisfying after getting the -blam!-er to finally have an exotic bad ass gun finally. Got me through my first raid after that and from there to destiny godhood.

1 Replywhat a nightmare that was for me! If I remember right, I needed void kills, and all I had was atheon's epilogue. if you used that weapon, you'll congratulate me! I never played PvP in Y1 except for this and the Bad Juju quests (finished them in the same night).
