How did you get your 1st year 1 thorn?
Did you get it from the legacy engram or through the quest bounty.
If you did get it through the quest bounty what weapons did you use for the crusible bit and the strike mission.
For me I believe that I used epitaph and athions epilogue.
For the strike l ran sunsinger and use icebreaker forgot the other weapons.
Edit: seems like not too many guardians go a hold of a decent void sniper. Cause it was pretty simple for me, because most of my kill I just stood in the back sniping.
Edit: what do you think is the tougher bounty the chaperone or the thorn bounty?

Thorn was my first exotic weapon and at that time i was a hunter that was just starting out so the cruc part consisted of me using a blue sniper and being really careful not to get killed(i did not have a single elemental primary with void:( ) Strike part i had to go on lfg but it got me to know 2 awesome buddies!

I got mine the hard way...quite late too. Then months later they had it offered for free, sort of, by way of incomplete exotics automatically becoming complete.

Year 1 via the exotic bounty. Used Word of Crota and Sword Breaker.

A green void fusion rifle. Lots of sweat. More tears. A few weeks of endless pain, hopes, despair, losses and wins. But it got me into crucible.

3 RepliesI remember handing in all my daily bounties at once as it seemed the most common way to get the Thorn bounty. Kept doing it so I had thorn on all characters. Nothing better then doing the thorn crucible quest armed with Atheons Epilogue, Praedyths Revenge and Corrective Measure. They were the days... I found Chaperone very easy as I did mine during SRL lol

Stupid bounty thank god for epilogue but when i got it i was like meh only 6 bullets pah not worth a exotic slot

2 RepliesTwo weeks after the game launch. I got the quest on my hunter, so no void abilities abd i only had a green shitty shotgun. Also i solo the lvl 28 and death for hours. It was horrible. I hope the new quest is just as bad if not worse than the year 1 version.

Preadyth revenge on my hunter. Took me 5 games in my best try. Did the bounty like 10 times. Really liked the strike

First exotic week three-four destiny bounty. 5 minute later got TLW from phogoth never used thorn again.

Did the bounty on a hunter back when thorn was shit, dismantled it. Then they buffed it so had to do it all again. ( still didn't use it much I preferred hawkmoon )

Bounty 2 weeks before ttk. Had to use it while it was prime.

Can't remember exactly what I used for the quest line as I'm pretty sure my brain has erased all memories of the trauma of doing that quest on my Hunter.
