If you are struggling with it, try using a Sidearm as a Primary and NLB more as a Special, can be hard, but try it till the point when you think your aim is better with it.
I hope this helped
if youre using blade dancer, use quickdraw ability and hit someone with a body shot quick scope then switch to side arm

1 ReplyEdited by Le Shrimp: 8/5/2016 5:56:54 AMThe main tip I can give you is practice, practice, practice. Although I usually run sidearm + NLB, I try to run double snipers sometimes to kind of force myself to be in my sniping mindset. Not sure if anyone has posted this yet (or if I have @_@- I post on a lot of NLB threads), but hovering over an opponents head while scoped in will show you a tiny red dot. If you shoot while that dot is there, it's a guaranteed headshot unless they're lagging lol. But don't sit there looking for the dot and take your eyes off the enemy. If you can get in the habit of noticing that dot without directly looking for/at it, you'll be golden! Canceling the bolt animation can make the gun jam, thus causing you to get in a tricky situation at times. Just remember this if you're working on canceling that animation. Unless you really need to cancel it, I wouldn't just for this issue, but learn how to do it nonetheless. It's a great gun and you can get crispy headshots even if you're getting peppered by an enemy due to the NLBs stability. Just don't try to headshot people in supers unless you have the master perk activated. Won't be a one shot kill... usually. I love running it in just about any game mode and I prefer being somewhat aggressive with it. It's helped me be a better sniper. :) Hopefully some of that helps and enjoy using NLB. I've met a lot of good friends via random PvP matches by using this weapon.

Something I find helps is to focus on the iron sights instead of the target behind them. Trust your eyes to identify targets.
-
If you want to master it, only use it. Don't use special. If someone runs at you, aim for their face. If used correctly this gun can conquer any range.

Learn how to NLB glitch. Shoot, reload, sprint. (Works on all snipers)
-
Master the reload glitch Get a good feel for where the bullet goes when scoping trough the sights And aim well
-
Best tip I got: don't make a montage with it
-
1 ReplyNo tips it's a garbage weapon with more aim assist for sweaty try hards
-
I actually picked it for the first time ever, yesterday! I didn't do to bad, I impressed myself. Went positive everytime so that's a good sign
-
I never mastered it as well. I will finish my Rumble 100 and then start using it.
-
Red dot is not perfect, do not rely on it. Shoot just before while dragscoping
-
Aim above the head, take your time with your shot.
-
The most difficult part, for me, was getting used to where the real reticle is in the iron sights. Once I got it, I made it a natural sight alignment. The second most difficult part was getting the hang of the reload glitch timing. If you do it wrong, the game thinks it's still reloading and your next shot is delayed. It feels like the gun jams. The third most difficult part was using any other primary weapon. Ever.

I practiced using nlb in y1 rumble, if you think your shot should've landed then the next shot aim a second longer. Master the nlb reload glitch makes follow up shots easy.
-
Aim around the upper chest/neck area. Your precision shot will have a better chance at proc-ing. Practice reload cancel and scoping at head level to make minute adjustments. Don't be aggressive. Profit.
-
Used to be decent back then, now I'm trash again. Anyway: -Aim the scope at an opponents head before popping out, it's more likely that your opponent is hardscoping your ass -before going for the NLB, try a low AA sniper first, after mastering that, you'll be a god with the NLB -Try to use the NLB more than your secondary -if the person is already at half health, it's not so bad to body shot the guy I think think those are tips
-
Don't use it
-
One main thing that I've found is aim for your opponents eyes or higher. Because if you aim any lower, chances are you're going to hit a body shot. This happens because of the way the reticle is shaped. Also pair something with it to take on short/mid range. I usually go with a sidearm or fusion, but shotguns work too. Another sniper works too but unless you're good at quick scoping you're screwed in short range engagements. A lower sensitivity helps too, I would recommend 3 or 4.
